NY Jets -1 in Miami? All over Jets?

The Jets actually didnt look that bad today even though they did lose by 14 against an excellent team in the Saints.
 
I think Miami looked very good against a shitty team (buffalo who mind you was a -1 fav in Miami this week)  Now the Jets are a -1 fav in miami. We all know the Jets are a much better team than Buff.

Jets really outplayed the Saints IMO. Those two turnovers killed them, and at the end of the game they were in a huge hole and added two more turnovers. Miami is so one dimensional, i see the jets Defense feasting on them next week. That defense is NO JOKE, and we all know what Miami will be doing. I can't see how they are only 1 point favorites. I'm a homer but I don't care, Vegas still isnt giving the jets any respect apparently. That game was much closer than the score indicated

Agree with you Jets at -1 is a steal.  The line may be -3 by game time, nice sell off opportunity, IMO.

The Jets are going to make Miami have to pass... That will be the test, whether Miami can adjust when NY shuts down their running game.

good luck wit that,,,division game at home ill take the home team...jets -1 is a sucker bet vegas lives off these types of games...miami all day

the players turn the ball over(will there be a new qb next week?) ie. sanchez...miami wins in a close 1

So you guys have no hestitation with them only laying 1 ? Looks to good to be true. You know what that means. Henne looked horrible last week. So Everyone unloaded on Buffalo and they got blown out today. No play for me but

miami miami and more miami with that line please dont think for a second vegas doesnt know what they are doing....... by game time the line will be +3-4 for miami and im gonna jump ALL OVER THEM vegas knows how to get sucker bets and this is going to be the best game on the board next week. WEEK  BEFORE a bye... jets on 2 road game trip gonna wanna go home quick and miami will get it done

johnny utah and paco know the deal the rest should follow...the world will be on ny i will be on mia...its amazing how after 3 wks u jet backers r on ure knees blowin them...jets will be 8-8 at best this year

Right, thats my point. The jets contained Drew Brees. I see no possible way that Henne will be able to do anything. If he has the game of his life, he wont be 1/3 of breese. I just dont see how the Phins can win thsi one

at first glance miami doesn't look to bad, if the dolphins can put the game in sanchez's hands, the dolphins win.

You really should think before you type something like that. The jets are 3-1 right now. They have Miami, Buffalo, Oakland, Miami, Jax, NE, Carolina, Buffalo, Tampa, Falcons, Colts, and bengals. In that order. You cant honestly tell me they will only win 5 of those games...

uh yeah...ill easily tell u that...1-1 vs mia 1-1 vs buf 1-1 vs ne 1-0 vs oak 0-1 vs jax 0-1 vs car 1-0 vs tb 0-1 vs atl 0-1 vs indy 0-1 vs cincy..and thats if the ball bounces their way

The difference is Buff's D vs Jets' D.  Actually my book doesn't have the line yet but if when it does, I'll be all over the -1 and look to sell off if does move up to -3.

How can you say they out played the Saints when they lost?

Also:

Saints First downs (18) and Jets (14)

Saints 3rd down efficiency 30% vs Jets 25%

Total yards favor the Saints 343 to Jets 244

Rushing Yards: Saints 153 to 132 Jets

Passing Yards: Saints 190 vs Jets 112

Time of Possession: Saints 32:39 to Jets 27:21

Final Score: Saints 24 to Jets 10 (Saints could have ran up the score with 1st and goal on the 4yd line and decided to show mercy and kneel)

The only statistic that favors the jets is punting! Jets averaged 42yds per punt to the Saints 38yds.

 

So tell me again who is the better team? Who outplayed who? You are blinded by your fan hood. Jets are a decent team but they were the worst between these two today.

 Just couldn't listen to non-sense.

definitely leaning Jets.  Difference will be who can run.  both have good run defense, but Jets can rattle the QB

i don't believe the -1 number is even close to where it should be,
miami beating buffalo and jets losing to the saints = -1?

it looks like the line is begging for action on the jets side.

not making it a play, but if the % is mostly on the jets and the line does not move, i wouldn't be surprised to see an upset.

Miami won big today and jets lost by 2 td's today. That is what the line is based on.
I'll take the Jets even if it was -10.
That wildcat is going to get eaten alive by the Jets D.
And Henne isn't going to beat them through the air

I can't tell if Jets or Miami will win, I'll just choose the home town favorites on the covers point bet.

Sanchez made too many mistakes vs the Saints, he should have thrown the ball away several times & ended up making stupid mistakes. I know hes a rookie but he's gotta know better. Gonna be interesting next week!
