Well you lost your credit when you bought the half point. Do the maths on how much you are paying (35%) including juice buying the .5 compared of the % chance of it actually ending at 3. Bookies love this.
I don't have a lean either way yet, but let's not make a blanket assumption that the NFC South is that much way better than the NFC West based on records.
Based on yds give up per game, here's how the two divisions stacked up ...
Sea - 9th overall, Atlanta - 12th, Ariz - 18th, StL - 22nd, Caro - 28th, and TB - 30th
It's even more evident when looking at pts given up per game ...
Sea - 7th overall, Ariz -17th, Atlanta - 18th, StL - 26th, Caro - 27th, and TB 32nd
I could contend that Sea and Ariz could be on par with Atlanta
I don't know what what the Strength of Schedule was this yearm but keep in mind that the NFC West matched up with the AFC North playing the likes of Pitt, Balt, and Cinci, where the NFC South matched up with the AFC South playing the likes of Indi, Jax, and Tenn.
It just doesn't seem so clear cut to me that the two divisions were that far apart.

40niners has a predictable offense, pretty much ground and pound, hard earn yardages, some oldschool football, with a CRAPPY redzone production all season long.. Golden finger points to New Orleans with the explosive offense which will burn sf defense slowly. Brees will get the job done, Hes a 2nd half monster if his team is down. All Sf defense really have is strong front 7 with man to man defense which Brees will pick them apart slowly with so many option. Defensively from New Orleans they have Vilma, Harper, Porter, and a few more key players like Jenkins, Smith, and a good defense front that will pressure Alex Smith, and put a decent stop on Sf, only action I can really see from Sf is from Frank Gore because he a beast. Great fantasy player. So visually I can not see Sf winning.
Saints ftw!!!
BOLA!

Mikniks, I don't doubt what you're saying since I've heard that before, but would you please elaborate? Can you either explain why buying points is a bad idea or point me to a discussion/analysis of the subject? Thanks.
