I just can't bet on a team who lost at home against the Chiefs and has absolutely NO offense!  The under is the strongest play IMO on this game.

Will  the off the field stuff will effect the bear that what I am concern about it.

chicago is in a free fall  lost 3 in a row and a 13-3 loss to KC  a Drug arrest with herd  laying points with this team is stupid  seattle is the bet

I am thinking the exact same thing..... If the bears run defense can contain lynch, seahawks are not going to do much on offense.... seahawks stock is high after 2 nice wins at home against 2 teams that can't stop the run.....

Bears defense single handedly beat denver last week, a team with run-oriented attack, and a very similar mobile QB.  Now that i think about it, Tavaris Jackson and Tebow are actually very similar players (not including leadership qualities)....

Marion Barber had a solid game last week, and if it weren't for either of his two late bonehead plays, the bears walk away with a win.

I am trying very, very very hard not to bet this one, as the last thing i want is the bears to fall into an early hole and have to hope haine can bring them back against a solid seahawks defense.

Polar I've been eyeballing this game all week.  It's the nfl and I usually like to find the games that don't have the spotlight.  Nobody cares about this game at all.  All the action will be focused in mile high, the pack, and colts, texans.

I find a lot to like in bears today.  Seattle's offense is a joke, especially their offensive line.  It seems many are being fooled by the nice Lynch storyline, and while he is running well, is he going to find room to run against the bears?  Rams d-line of all things put significant pressure on Jackson plus he just isn't a good passer.

It 'should' be a very long day for the Seattle offense.  I would expect Bears D to create some turnovers and favorable field position for their own offense.

Like you I keep wondering if the bears defense can win this thing all on their own because there are obviously concerns with the offense.  Can bears D + special teams(aka Hester) get this done on their own?

Seahawks do have some talented young defensive backs that have range.  We saw that this past Monday night.  Last thing I want to see is Hanie trying to air it out.

This one might be gross to watch but I would expect Bears D to be the star and slowly chew up the seahawks all game and frustrate their offense and Lynch.  Eventually I would expect Hester to take a kick to the house or bears D to take a pick or fumble to the house and break the game open.

Hopefully this game stays under the radar.  ML might be the way to go as I don't want to be depending on the bears offense to cover points, only to win.

Seattle  makes a late season run and sneaks into the playoffs, just like last year. They have a lot to play for today and can and will run on this messed up Bears team. Sea + 3.5 is a trap line, per Ahston Grewel, have to agree here, but I'm taking the bait.

  SEA +3.5, the covering machine continues to roll.......

The next game that Caleb Hanie wins will be his first one.  I like to see a QB with at least one victory under his belt before I lay points with him.

FYI Hester has an ankle problem and is Questionable for today's game.   He might play, but he may not be effective.

Hi Polar Bear, are you sure the trend above is correct? I checked this season and it was 2-2 ATS...Not to be a hater but just checking..I love trends...

Wasn't that same trend in effect when they covered vs the Rams Monday night ?
