Yes....He masterminded Brady being called the G.O.A.T. while handing over a Superbowl win by NOT running the ball with Marshawn Lynch at the 1 yard line. an_punch

I'm with you on Dallas LC. The ML jumped to -140 though so I'm gonna hope I can get it cheaper by kickoff. As for the Ravens I've been on the Chargers +3 all week and locked it in a few days ago. However, I'm getting nervous. If I can get the Ravens back at a cheap ML I might hedge and hope for a cover on both sides.

GL with your plays (and great call on Chicago last night. I didn't tail) an_clapwin

You didn't address anything meaningful besides saying Coach Lynn does a poor job getting his team ready in rematches. Yet, he's 2-0 against teams he's lost to this season.

The NFL is a fickle biitch.  1 month ago Harbaugh was getting fired.  Now he has Balty in the playoffs.  Who knows, if LAC thumps them, he still may get canned.

I like the Harbaugh stat. But if you look a lot of that has to do with Flacco who is a beast in the playoffs. No doubt Harbsugh deserves some credit but Flacco’s stats go up dramatically in the playoffs. After what the browns did to the Raven defense this game looks like a toss up. As most of the games this weekend look .. GL

GL

The Seahawks beat the Cowboys in week 16 last year in a meaningful game to Dallas while they were fighting for a playoff spot. Seattle again beat them early this year as well. This will be Dallas third try to beat Seattle over the past 12 months however, I can make the argument their defense is vastly improved to those 2 other games, and they are also playing at home which is huge in the playoffs.

Additionally if you look at Seattle's ypp differential, the Seahawks stats have not been impressive this year. In fact they are the worst among any playoff team.

Dallas is a bit overrated as well, but there is a huge advantage in playing hard in the regular season and winning your division, as you get to host a playoff game in your home turf.

Lots of other things but overall I like Dallas' chances highly in this game

I'm not sure where you got this info but I will strongly disagree with it.

Seattle's ypp is 13.2 yards needed to score 1 pt on offense and their opp need 16.3 yards to score 1 pt  which is a 3.1 differential , good for 5th in the league.

Dallas is 0 , good for last of all playoff teams.

That 3.1 difference between Seattle and Dallas's ypp margin  is the largest difference between any 2 teams in WC round, even bigger then bears over The Eagles when Bears finished 2cd in league and 1st if we count the Saints last week when the rested starters.

    Seattle QBPR margin is 16.2
Dallas is a pathetic 1.2, 2cd to last of all playoff teams

    AVE PER PASS MARGIN

    Seattle 0
Dallas (-.4) last of all playoff teams

    Rushing yards margin

    Seattle +47
    Dallas +28

Seattle does not just beat Dallas they beat them by good amounts in most every meaningful area.

I also disagree with beating a team 3 times in a season, it happens more often then it does not happen..

The mistake people make when they look at this info is they judge all teams played 3 times in a season, instead you should only look at teams win the first 2 and go into the 3rd game with the oppurtunity to win 3 games. This shows 1 team is clearly better when the 3rd oppurtunity arrives.

More often then not the team won the 1st 2 will win the 3rd.

The times when the 2 teams spit 1-1 after the 1st 2 games does not tell us 1 team is better when the 3rd game arrives.

I do think the one chance Dallas might have is Seattle's efficeincy in ypp and QBPR margin  comes mostly from winning the TO battle big  and that is not the best way to achieve efficeincy going into the playoffs.

As TO can be  random and Seattle can just as well lose that battle as win it and if they do lose it then I don;t think they do enough other things to make up for it.

And the other game you referenced was week 17....

Good points Claw, Seattle's defense is still smoke and mirrors in my opinion compared to Dallas when playing meaningful snaps. Not counting week 17 (I didn't update my sheets afterwards as week 17 is usually fluky anyways), Seattle averaged -0.5 yards per play differential, worst among any playoff team. It's even worse when you take out garbage time

    Hey LC:

When looking at the Ravens/Chargers game you’ve obviously factored in the Ravens defense. Have you factored in Lamar Jackson’s ball control? What happens if the Ravens run game isn’t clicking and Lamar has to progress through reads and convert through the air on the third downs? I only ask because many assume this Ravens/Chargers game will see no adjustments and that part 2 will be a rerun. What do you think the gameplan will be from Rivers and that offense? Ball control to condense the game? Most likely, right? They aren’t gonna come out slinging knowing that if they go 3 and out l, their defense could be on the field all day with the Ravens ability to run. If the game is close in the end, who are you trusting? Rivers or Jackson? Crabtree or Allen? Harbaugh is one of the best coaches in the NFL but coaches don’t make the reads out on the field and as much as I’m sure the Ravens would love to run 70% in this game, something tells me there will be key moments in this game where Harbaughs decision to start Jackson today will be put to the test. I watched Jackson at the Ville and he has a tendency when flustered to not set his feet. That results in bad throws.....There is a reason why Flacco isn’t starting and I feel it’s not just about Flacco. Could it be the trust in their receivers? Flacco is a pocket guy but why did they struggle so much with him when they had the same run game? My guess is that maybe the recievers weren’t getting open and getting the separation? Of course it’s Jackson’s ability to run and their good run game but can Lamar make the throws in the red zone? You spoke about LA being a good team but because they have to go on the road with that great record, that could be their demise. I get that but LA has known for quite some time where they would end up in the playoff picture with KC being in their division. They knew they’d be going in the roa. It’s not a surprise to them. I’m just playing devils advocate here. Nobody talking about the run game of the Chargers with multiple backs that can catch and run and nobody talking about the Chargers defense who knows what the Ravens want to do here tomorrow. Could the Chargers pull a Patriots in using short passes to pose as their “run game” this eating up the clock? With 3 or 4 African American coaches being fired this year, couldn’t have extra motivation here tomorrow? Just another small angle there even though it doesn’t carry much weight. All the best amigo.

Rams to win SB? You must be kidding, correct? KC and Rams will be one and done. They will lose IF they are lucky to get to the SB.

Because a "unit" is a non-changing monetary amount and we know what his is as he's stated it before.
