Revenge game for the Chargers as the Ravens beat them a few weeks ago in LA 22-10. So let’s take a closer look.
Small sample size but against winning teams, Anthony Lynn has been outscored by 4.4 points in the first half of revenge games through the first 7 attempts of his coaching career with the Chargers. That includes getting outscored by halftime in 6 of those 7 games. First half numbers are important to look at in these situations as it shows how a team comes out after preparation, coaching, and adjustments. As it turns out, Anthony Lynn has done a very poor job in getting his team prepared to face the same opponent so far.
At first glance one could say this should be Philip Rivers year and I agreed at some points late this season, but I believe they have a HUGE disadvantage, earning a 12-4 record yet still ending up with the #5 seed. A 12-4 record usually equates to a first round bye and 2 weeks to prepare to win 1 game and advance to the conference championship. Because of the Chiefs being in the same division, that’s not the case this year for the Chargers. LA getting a 2nd crack at Lamar Jackson is definitely an advantage, but Anthony Lynn is not to be trusted in a big game.
As mentioned throughout the season, I rode Baltimore a ton in the regular season and I’ll be riding them heavily in these playoffs. Yes they have the #1 defense in the AFC, but they also have John Harbaugh who I trust as much as anybody in the post-season. Harbaugh is a perfect 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in the playoffs against teams he beat during that same season. He also has won those 6 games by an average of 13.5 points which include final results of 27-9, 30-7, 20-13, 24-9, and 28-13. Harbaugh and Belicheck self-scout their own teams better than anybody in the NFL, and I expect the Ravens to advance to the second round.
Cowboys -120 (5x)
Ravens -143 (4x)
Passing on the other two games, but adding a future play for the NFC to add to the AFC bets from earlier this year:
Pending:
Patriots AFC +300 (2.5x)
Ravens AFC +3700 (0.5x)
Rams NFC +260 (3x)
NFL YTD: 111-59 ATS (65.3%) +95.91 Units
Cheers to a profitable playoffs

Good luck dude! Love Balt but I think Seattle pulls this one out. Can't trust Dak at all and believe his tendencies for turnovers does not end this weekend. We'll see!

How is Anthony Lynn not to be trusted in the big game? If you're talking regular season, he's gone 21-11 in his first 2 seasons at the Chargers HC and was shortcut of the playoffs last season through some BS tiebreaker that allowed the Bills a playoff berth. The Chargers finished strong last season
If you want to talk about revenge, the Chargers have avenged BOTH their losses from this season, including the #1 seed @KC and @DEN. So technically they are 2-0 in revenge games this season, all the PPG YPG, etc are meaningless at the end of the day when you go 2-0 in those revenge games.

THIS IS THE BULLSH@T TYPE POST that makes this site a joke. LC hits at a 65% rate and made almost 100k yet this clown gives everybody this.......See....regardless of the success one offers and regardless of the type of guy LC is, we get douchebags like datboy86 in here. No posts, no plays, no insight, NOTHING.....much like some I deal with every single day....I mean is it not clear what datboy86 is? Tout, covers pion? I knew this before but it’s so much clearer at this point that there are a lot of hidden agendas and bs motives that covers knows of yet overlooks. I’m not as nice and patient in this site and there really isn’t a reason to be when you have filth like this flood these forums.

Hawks aren’t winning. Cowboys at home, better d, better offense as well(although that’s more of a coin flip). They actually outgained the hawks in Seattle in the loss earlier this year but they turned it over 3 times which cost em the game. If Dallas can avoid turning it over, they’ll win fairly easy.

LC - Been on this site for about 10 years now....I have pretty much always been a lurker rather than a contributor. I enjoy reading certain peoples threads and yours happens to be one of them. I mostly bet in small pools and stuff like that. I have to give props to you as your picks have help me many times win a little money. I just wanted to say "thank you" for being a contributor to this site (and for winning me some money!) . Much appreciation for all you do

Lots of factors have me on the Cowboys tomorrow. I'll be brief but for one, it's extremely hard to beat the same team 3 times in one season (or in this case, in a 12 month period). The Seahawks beat the Cowboys in week 16 last year in a meaningful game to Dallas while they were fighting for a playoff spot. Seattle again beat them early this year as well. This will be Dallas third try to beat Seattle over the past 12 months however, I can make the argument their defense is vastly improved to those 2 other games, and they are also playing at home which is huge in the playoffs.
Additionally if you look at Seattle's ypp differential, the Seahawks stats have not been impressive this year. In fact they are the worst among any playoff team.
Dallas is a bit overrated as well, but there is a huge advantage in playing hard in the regular season and winning your division, as you get to host a playoff game in your home turf.
Lots of other things but overall I like Dallas' chances highly in this game

Few notes on Dallas while I have time:

Are the Rams to win the Super Bowl a good look at +500?
It's good as I think they will be in the Superbowl, but i'd rather see who they play first. I'd take the Chiefs or the Pats over the Rams in the bowl if they meet, but the Rams over anybody else. So just an NFC bet on them for me for now

Didn't I already address this in the post? The Chargers are stacked on both offense and defense, being 21-11 doesn't say much about the coaching job Lynn has done one way or the other
