What a crappy NFL slate, at least from a betting standpoint. So many key injuries make for some tough capping. Today's my birthday, and it's been a profitable birthday weekend so far, so today I'm not gonna bet just for the sake of betting. I learned years ago, NEVER FORCE A PLAY. So I'm skipping past the morning and afternoon games and turning my attention to the Sunday night game for my one and only play of the day.

3* PANTHERS +3' over Lions - Carolina's best role is as an underdog off a loss. They've covered 14 straight in that situation. I'm betting they make it 15.
