I'll be honest, haven't even been following the hockey stuff; every year my interest in it wanes (could be due to how awful the Flames organization is being run and how painful it is to watch them wallow in mediocrity, at best, season after season). Granted, I'm single again and watching Canucks games at the bar is a good social event, so I suppose I have at least one reason to be disappointed by what's going on.
PTB made a good point, and it looks like there's numerous trends backing either side in this Sunday Night Football contest. I just think the whole "Pats off a loss" thing is cancelled out by the fact that the Ravens had a win stolen from them last week too...I'd be less confident in this game if Baltimore was sitting pretty at 2-0. And yeah the Pats have been great off a loss with Brady and Belichick, but are we even certain that they're as good a team as they have been in the past? My personal rankings have the Ravens as the superior team, so quite simply laying less than a fg at home is the clear play (for me).
BOL in whatever you decide, and I'm sure we'll be treated to a good one no matter what.
I've been out of town the last 2 weekends, so I'm absolutely stoked for my first 10-hour Sunday couch session of the season

andarmac99: Not sure if you like to play ATS trends but I came across an interesting STAT for the Tennesse-Detroit game.
What is the ATS record of teams the week after they have lost two consecutive games by 21 or more points?
HOME: 25-15 ATS 62%
AWAY: 11-8-1 58%
OVERALL: 36-23-1 61%

Nice week, Andy. ![]()
Was busy all week so couldn't post. Wacky week. I hit the Titans like you and man I was spitting at my television when they blew the lead they built all afternoon and went down 27-20. Caught some breaks as they came back and covered, but man it's never easy.
Had Eagles -3. Arizona was really impressive. I thought that the Philly defense was gonna have their way with Zona and cover regardless of whether Philly turned the ball another 4 times, but I was wrong. I only saw bits and pieces of the game as I was bouncing around between NFL and MLB(squeaked by to win my keeper league with the Ryan Dempster win!!!), but what I saw was impressive. Arizona D is faster and more physical than I thought(and I ranked them high in preseason). Well coached and extremely disciplined team. I think the days of them being 3+ point home dogs are OVER.
And thank god I switched my Pats ML bet at the last second and took the points. Mid week the game jumped down to 1.5 with my local(its fucking killing me having only one book now, but local 1 got busted and I pulled all my money overseas last year) and I panicked and locked up prematurely. Was at the confirm screen NE +115, and at the last second took the points. I'll take the good luck. Last week every single bad break hijacked what should have been a profitable week, but it evened out this week with lots of lucky breaks and overall good luck.
Titans +12.5 jumped out at me for next week, as well. Didn't lock it up, but gonna watch it all week. 11.5 and up and it's probably a play.
GL tomorrow. I have a play on the Under(I tail Sharp Football Analysis with all his totals), but the Packers look like the play. I don't see the Pack losing this game. This was a 15 win team after winning the SB a year before and have arguably the best QB in the game. 12th man behind Seattle or not, the rook is gonna have a helluva time making reads on a Dom Caper's defense. Only way Seattle covers(imo) is if their running game truly and utterly dominates the game, and Rodgers turns over the ball.

Haven't been doing well and just don't have the time to sustain a weekly thread that produces good quality write-ups and winners- I will chime in here if I like anything. Great week buddy!
