Good stuff. I disagree on Seattle's defense but I think this will be a truck job.
I dont think you were dead wrong about the Rams. Theres no way to predict all the injuries they had on both sides of the ball, and they were in the game until late 4th quarter....
I took Seattle +14.5. SF had 2 punt returns in a minute or Seattle has a good chance to win that game. Pitt should be fired up, but Big Ben is too old now and the bullshit he used to do in 2007 is now turning into ints....
gl either way bro ![]()

.......how was the Atlanta rushing attack before the game got out of hand?
- It is easy to fall into the Cam Newton hype after seeing his stat line and ESPN lackeys blowing him the last few days, but I just watched that game and Newton was really good. Arizona played a really nice rounded game on offense and have nothing to be embarrassed about, but Carolina really should have won that game. Newton was poised in the pocket, always had his eyes downfield even on the few plays he took off and ran, and made some incredible throws both in the pocket and on the move. As the game progressed, Arizona threw the kitchen sink at him with different blitz packages, and Newton was up to the task. Very impressive. Green Bay obviously is a much better defensive squad than Zona, but they didn't show me much against the Saints and unless Capers really confuses the young QB on Sunday, I gotta wonder if Newton can't put up some points. Andy, what do you think of that game? Let's assume the line creeps to the 10.5/11 area.
Speaking of line movement, where do you think the Dallas line moves to? I'm itchy to bang out the Cowboys now, but that little hook will make the world of difference if it creeps to 3.5, and I don't want to miss out on the available 3 right now.

Forget the Harvin TD, forget the two Rivers turnovers in the red zone, the thing that ate me up the most was losing Kaeding on the opening kickoff, and SD going for it instead of kicking a fairly easy FG in the 2nd quarter. They went for it and got stopped and that was the cover right there.

I tend to agree with PTB here. I can't imagine some old bag biting the dust meaning ANYTHING to professional football players in the NFL. My bosses wife shits the bed and all that means to us workers is a mini vacation while the douchebag is out on bereavement. And even if there was a death to a player or coaches wife and emotions even remotely played into it, I still don't think it matters much in the end, because I have seen more teams lose than win in ultra emotional spots.
Not a factor, imo.

Just locked Dallas -3. Honestly, I don't see the line moving anywhere, but IF it does move, I would think it creeps against me to 3.5 or 4.
Dallas played a very good game on the road against a stout Jets team Sunday and really deserved to walk out of there with a win. It seems like the entire world has deemed Tony Romo the scapegoat there, and yes that INT was unacceptable, but there was more to that collapse than his two bad plays. The defense was content to be ultra conservative pretty much since the 3rd quarter, Garrett called some douchey plays on 1st and goal late in the game(they should have just pounded it in instead of being cute and then maybe Romo doesn't fumble), and the blocked punt for a TD was brutal.
So Dallas is gonna fly out to SF ready to kill. Romo is taking a beating from all angles(a lot of it undeserved) and he is gonna come out with a major chip on his shoulder. As I mentioned earlier, SF looked pretty fucking bad against Seattle. They generated nothing on the ground against Seattle, so I can't see them doing much against Dallas. That leaves Alex Smith to win the game and judging by offense last week, I really don't think him dropping back, instantly being pressured, and then throw 3 yard passes all game is gonna do much.
I can see a Dallas slaughter here.
