*Three teams (1979 Rams, 1982 Dolphins, 2001 Rams) came close to breaking the curse, making it to the Super Bowl. But all three lost. The 2001 Rams argueably came the closest - losing to the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI to Adam Vinatieri's last-second game-winning field goal. and #4 falcons +3 dog blew a 25 point lead and lost in OT by 6 to Patriots 

seattle has never won a superbowl wearing thier dark blue uniforms they are 0 4 ever they only won one wearing all white or white jerseys

I got a very nice  line on Seahawks at -110.

I'd of bought it down either way to get the best line. Even though I think Seahawks win by double digits.

I'd still lay the -4.5 though or -5. I do see 1 book over -4.5 but the others still at -4.5 with some juiced. 

Interesting, I just check scores and odds which i quess covers 8 books some supposedly square books but now it is 54% of money on Pats.

For those think everyone is on Seahawks, the tout is proving correct that should not be a play fading the public on  Seahawks.

Another book said they have lots of action on Pats to win SB now if the money is also on Pats books may now need Seahawks to cover.

It'll  be interesting to hear the books take after the game when everything has been decided on how they did.

Without knowing he was doing it, theclaw persuaded me to ditch the 2000s Super Bowl stats I'd been clinging to in favor of reversing course entirely and siding strongly with the powerhouse Seattle Seahawks. And I thank him for pointing out that the Seahawks weren't ABOUT to become yet another Super Bowl favorite that tightens up and knuckles under.

2-0 , won 1.5 units

Seahawks did what the did all season, beat the Pats in ......Pts per Plays

Seahawks by .214

They have been over .200 for most of the season, including through the playoffs.

Much like I pointed out the talk on all these dogs winning SU and covering the wrong teams were favored in many of them and some were surprise teams from the WC round which was a unquie period of time never seen before or after.

Many forgot about this period as though it was bussiness as usual.

People could not figure all these dogs covering out, I saw through it.

I had a very good read on this SB, as good as I've had for many years.

Taking a early look at next year, there appears to be 3 teams very likely to regress.

Pats, Bears and Denver.

Denver with there i think 9-2 in close wins not repeatable. And their expected wins of (-3).

In other words they should of won 3 fewer games, 11 wins not 14.

3 is alot. Had the won 11 how would your view of them change ? That is the level they played on, their true strength.

I just the NE 2026 season schedule on Get Up and their road teams are a bunch of tough outs.  Their Strength of Schedule will get a LOT tougher.

Many Super Bowl losers fail to even reach the playoffs, let alone make it back to the Big Game.  NE could certainly join that group of painful failures.

I was only thinking about the big year over year improvement, these tye teams never improve the next season.

Only 1 team even won the same number of games, that was Andrew Luck with Colts but he was only starting from 11 wins.

Pats starting from a very high point of 14 wins.

9 or 10 wins is very possible, 11 might be the max.

Then add in the points you bring up which are likely baked into the past teams to some degree other then SB loser, Pats not going to be as good next year.
