Pats should of won by 8.71 & 8.46. Not the 13 pt win the Pats had but close enough.
The Texans are interesting because they had 2 defensive TD's, generally teams with 2 defensive/special team TD's will not have their play on the field justify their win margin in that game.
But here the Texan dominated this game so throughly they are pretty close to the final margin in the game.
They should of won by 21.75 pts off by only 2.25 pts from the 24 pt margin.
And by 17.49 off by 6.51 which is reasonable enough.
Which means had they not gotten those 2 defensive TD's they would have under-scored their play on the field. Unless the offense got another TD or so which is possible.
The Texans have all the common denominators of past surprise teams from the wild card round.
Would they be considered a surprise teams?
Well, I would not call them a surprise teams but based what I see other good cappers and analysts talking about and the odds to win SB and AFC before the WC round games I think it is reasonable to consider them a surprise team
They would be a stronger WC team for sure but we had those also along with a number of weak statistical WC teams.
With the Pats ending the season as a Bator method fade, my new BF II fade and having played the easiest schedule in the past 26 years I would not bet against this Texans team.
It has to be Texans or no play ..............
Texans +4 (-115) over Pats --- 1.15 units

After watching my Pack fail horribly, I vowed to oppose the Bears this week, whatever the line. I took the Rams at my first opportunity, -3.5 game and -3 (ouch!) in the first half. If the Bears are down big at the half, I might just bet them at halftime or live. If god forbid they lead at the half, who knows.
