NFL Playoff Thread....

Just getting to posting...  I got some better lines personally but will post the current lines on these....

1.  Chiefs -3 for 4 units
2.  Bengals +1.5 for 2 units

3.  Vikings +4.5 for 2 units
4.  Redskins PK for 4 units

Also - some futures that I would take a look at is the Chiefs to win the SB.  I really do feel like the Patriots are super vulnerable (no team has ever lost their last 4 of 6 or anywhere close to that and won a SB), and the Broncos as well.  The AFC is wide open - and I dont buy that the Steelers are the best of the bunch.  A pretty wide open horse race (leave out the Texans) between the remaining 5 teams in the AFC - and I will take 19-1 on KC all day long.  The Bengals are obviously pretty dependent on their QB situation, otherwise they might also be worth a look.

2012 Ravens started 9-2 then finished 1-5 and won the SB.

I stand corrected.

I need to find where I read that.  

Doesnt change anything about how I feel about the Patriots.  I think you would have to be crazy to bet them at current odds.

Actually finished 1-4 after a 9-2 start that adds to 16 games. 2-4 over last 6 games

Vanzack, thanks for all the work during the season. Always a good read! On those two plays as well today.

One thing: I see you are taking +1.5 with the Bengals. Spreads from +1 to +2.5 come into play just 6% of the time. So statistically, in 94/100 games you don't need these points. It's money left on the table in the long run, it's more profitable to take the ML from +100 to +130.

Maybe you already knew it and you have some other reasons to take +1.5. Just a heads-up.

It was 1-4 in Dec , Balt went 4-0 in Nov..  but you are correct they did win the Bowl ...

I totally get your point, but remember, they are on four weeks rest. They started resting players in the Jets game and their play-calling vs. MIA was pretty vanilla. IF they get Edelman, McCourty, Vollmer & Chandler back, they are going to be very dangerous. If one team can play around a bad OL it's the Patriots with the phenomenal play-calling by Josh McDaniels.

i assume you got cincinnati at +3 where it's been much of the week. 

kind of surprised it moved as it did, but that's a good sign for us, hopefully.

I'm on 3 of 4, leaning washington all week. Got a future on KC to win the AFC+800 I think.

In this case IMO it goes under the heading " the times they are a changing".. With missed extra points now and the fact Pitt LOVES to go for two at odd times this year makes the 1.5 a very very good investment IMO..  Those stats will start to change now with the new extra point rules.. 2.5 is huge nowadays.. especially when Pitt is involved..
