The Broncos are (IMO) the early favorites to win the AFC West. Denver concluded their regular season play at 14-3. They beat Buffalo before ending their playoff run vs New England 16-3. KC had a failed season LY at 6-11. Injuries and the Most of All the Huge Distraction with Chelsie, I mean Kelse prior the Marriage of the Year took place. We will see if his being gelded and losing half of everything helps this season. HC Reid expects way more performance from his high powered offense and defense. Two injuries still need to be watched even though both players were fully cleared in Mahomes and DT Chris Jones. The biggest injury of all might just be the loss of OLT and replaced by an Undrafted Left Tackle. Den led the NFL in 2025 with 68 sacks with the leaders of Allen and Benito! Stand out CB Surtain II will play a big factor as well.
KC’s Spagnuolo loves to change his defensive around throughout hoping to disrupt the Broncos. Unfortunately/Fortunately however you view it, the Chiefs will try to shut down the Broncos Air Attack with a young group and new faces of starting DBs and Safety.
