At first, I was going to be the better person, but after some thought, I'm going to stoop to your level. How can you come into someone's thread and criticize my write-up by calling it narrow-minded. I could have just said Skins -1, but I added some thoughts to my thread. Yes, I think they can be focused against a joke team like the Raiders. That is my opinion and you can certainly disagree. But don't come in here and call my write-up narrow-minded you a$$hole.
Well said Charlie....his post was completely uncalled for.
You gave your opinion in a nut shell and their's nothing wrong with that....a long winded write-up doesn't always constitute a "better" write-up.

Your actions were showing that you were either being narrow-minded or you simply did not know to add this in your opinion. Toughen up, if you are going to post Sonny.

Sure, that collapse was a huge one vs the Saints...but hey, it was the 12-0 SAINTS...if they collapsed against the Lions or Browns like that then that would be one thing....several teams have had the Saints on the ropes the last month or so but they keep finding ways to win, hence the 12-0 record.
Personally a game that pits two teams like this will be a pass for me but I could honestly see the Skins D completely shutting down this garbage Raiders offense.

I'm making my biggest play on the NFL season tomorrow:
Skins -1 for 5 units
Just love this spot for Washington as they are playing well despite losing 3 in a row. Their last 3 games were against Dallas, Philly, and N Orleans, 3 top NFC team and they lost all 3 by a total of 7 points. Defensively, they are one of the best, allowing only 312 yards per game. Offensively, they are playing better as Campbell has settled down, plus they run the ball well against a Raider team that is allowing 4.6 yards per rush.
A big factor for me is that Oakland is coming off an monster road upset win over a rattled Steeler team. We say the normal Oakland team for 3 quarters, then an amazing 4th quarter performance that is a pure anomaly in my opinion. In my opinion, I don't think Oakland will repeat that perfomance for another year or so. No doubt, Gradkowski is a solid improvement at QB, but I just see a letdown performance this week.
I can't see the Oakland crowd being too excited about Washington coming to town, so if the Skins can get a good start like I think they will, the crowd will be out of it. I like the Skins by 10 points.
Just my opinion but this shouldn't be anyone's pick of the season... At best an average play

I say the Skins win this one and I'm putting my money where my mouth is. If I lose, that is just gambling. I really like this play, though I know it can lose like any other play.
By the way, I've been an NFL gambler for more years than I can say, but I do know that usually the better games to bet is the ones people think are crappy games. I see a team here that I think will shut down the Raiders offense and will be sucessful running the ball. Teams that play good defense and can run the ball in a certain game are known to win most of time I like Washington's chances to do both against a below average Raider's team. Either I'm wrong or I'm right. But I REALLY like my chances. Oh and by the way, Oakland is 0-3 ATS after their 1st 3 wins this year scoring a total of 10 points in those 3 games. Of course you can make some good points justifying those numbers, but with this small line, The Raiders have to win to beat me. Again, I like my chances.
But to those who like the Raiders, I still wish you luck as we all are trying to beat the man, not each other.

Nice call, Charlie. Certainly the injury of Gradkowski could have dampen the Raiders in 2nd half but Raiders self destructed and outplayed, defensively and offensively, by the Redskins were quite visible in the game.

Thanks Europa for the reply. Yep, Gradkowski getting knocked out was big for my play. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. The Skins are definitely an improved squad and could be a spoiler the next few weeks.
Mack, I'm passing tonight as I can't find an edge I like. Maybe a slight lean to Eli on home ground.

Great call...There is not a team in the NFL I'd back the Raiders in, in a pickum situation...not even against the lions or rams...and the redskins are a runaway train ATS lately..this one was easy and turned out exactly as you saw it...nice hit...
