NFL Dec 13 My Biggest play this season

I'm making my biggest play on the NFL season tomorrow:

Skins -1 for 5 units

Just love this spot for Washington as they are playing well despite losing 3 in a row.  Their last 3 games were against Dallas, Philly, and N Orleans, 3 top NFC team and they lost all 3 by a total of 7 points.  Defensively, they are one of the best, allowing only 312 yards per game.  Offensively, they are playing better as Campbell has settled down, plus they run the ball well against a Raider team that is allowing 4.6 yards per rush. 

A big factor for me is that Oakland is coming off an monster road upset win over a rattled Steeler team.  We say the normal Oakland team for 3 quarters, then an amazing 4th quarter performance that is a pure anomaly in my opinion.  In my opinion, I don't think Oakland will repeat that perfomance for another year or so.  No doubt, Gradkowski is a solid improvement at QB, but I just see a letdown performance this week. 

I can't see the Oakland crowd being too excited about Washington coming to town, so if the Skins can get a good start like I think they will, the crowd will be out of it.   I like the Skins by 10 points.

At first, I was going to be the better person, but after some thought, I'm going to stoop to your level.  How can you come into someone's thread and criticize my write-up by calling it narrow-minded.  I could have just said Skins -1, but I added some thoughts to my thread.  Yes, I think they can be focused against a joke team like the Raiders.  That is my opinion and you can certainly disagree.  But don't come in here and call my write-up narrow-minded you a$$hole.

With all the love that Oakland is getting here I think this is one to take a look at.

 I like Washington as well here because thier defense is much better than Pittsburgh was last week and Campbell is beginning to come around a bit.

Skins 3 tough loses to NO, Philly, and Cowboys.

Raiders 2 great wins against Pit and Cin.

These 2 teams has been given pretty tough schedules, Stats wise the Skins are a better team, Raiders do find a way to win and Skins is the opposite. Give the Skins credit for hanging in there and new Raider QB for turning around the offense.

Laying off the game, if I had to choose, would side with you.

How can the Skins have anything left after just giving everything they had and coming up short in their self-proclaimed "super bowl" in addition to having played two hard fought division games prior to that ?  What motivation do they have now to travel cross-country and face a non-conference foe in Oakland ?

Add to that the Skins have the Giants and Dallas on deck...this is the ultimate flat spot.

Listen, I don't mind replies that disagree, but I felt you went over the line a bit by using "narrow-minded.

hmmmm... whether or not you care, you are betting against one of those trends that comes up only a handful of times each year, but has historically been a very high % play...

play on a home dog against a team coming off an OT home loss... very rare occurrence, but hits at a very high rate in the NFL...

Charlie you can't post in here and think that everyone is going to agree with you. Pete just let you know the real deal, you did leave that part out, but GOY no way. Pete your point was valid my friend.
