Push on Carolina and Pitt comes through for the straight up and teaser plays. Will start looking into next week but overall a decent week..

I was able to get a better number for the same price on Tennessee at my other book so cashed out of the +3.5. Also adding Detroit i think they match up well with Atlanta and will bounce back here.

This ravens team is decimated with injuries right now, and they have a track record of underperforming ats as big favorites. I like that Gardner Minshew is playing, probably an upgrade given that Richardson is still adapting to the league. Minshew had a good showing when he came in last week and will be facing a team with key injuries to their secondary. Ravens probly win but colts cover.

Really like this spot for Pittsburgh…

 

Steelers -2.5 (-118) 1.5 units

Houston gets the huge win over division rival Jaguars, but I think they come back down to earth here. Their offensive line is very banged up, now they’re going up against Tj Watt and the league leading team in sacks thus far. Think Stroud will see alot of pressure and likely some regression as his completion percentage drops 13 percentage points when under pressure. Let down game for Houston think Pitt beats them up in the trenches. 

Additionally: 

-The Steelers are 10-2 SU/ATS w/ TJ Watt

-Pickett is 4-1 SU/ATS as a favorite

-The Steelers have won each of their last nine road games against AFC South opponents

-The Texans have lost each of their last eight games at NRG Stadium
