I like the pick
Minn defense will learn quickly that Brees is no Romo. If they don't get consistent pressure on him, he will torch that secondary (see Jay Cutler). If DT Williams and DE Edwards out or less than 75% it could get ugly in the Dome!!
I'll be there to witness Saints history!!! ![]()

Thanks for saying that. I had forgotten that I wanted to look for a prop bet on Favre interceptions. Everyone seems to downplay that Favre is a Saints fan. I'm sure he's getting an ear full from his family & friends saying, "You can't keep the Saints out of the Super Bowl. Think about all those poor people in the state of Lousiana who are depending on the Saints to make them proud." Blah blah blah blah. I guarantee u Favre throws a couple of late Xmas presents up for the Saints to intercept. Sounds like a prop play on Favre interceptions for me.![]()
LOL....so if you believe that is true that Favre will throw the game because he and his family are Saints fans...are you going to say the same thing if the Colts reach the Super Bowl and argue the fact that Peyton will throw 8 ints because his father played for the Saints and thats who he grew up rooting for?...Never in a million years would that happen

I'll probably be on the Saints, but you sound like a Saints Homer. You probably just got home from getting your d*ck sucked on Bourbon Street by some guy.![]()
You post about people posting things to make the board better, then you come back with this?? You might be on the right side by pure luck, but you are a bonified degenerate idiot. I'll take a prop bet on that.
As for the game, people are following the media's spin way to much in the Vikings favor. Keep pointing to how the Vikings killed the Cowboys, who beat the Saints, but not how the Vikings got killed by the Cardinals, who got murdered by the Saints.
Keep talking about how the Vikings are the better rushing team, as one point said early in this thread erroneously, but the Vikings are ranked 13th in rushing...the Saints are 6th. It highlights that the Saints have the FAR superior offensive line. Favre sacked 34 times this year, Brees 20. Again, Saints have the FAR superior offensive line.
Defensively, Saints have 26 int's this year, against a PASSING team like the Vikings, the Vikings only had 11. Saints defense has returned to it's healthy early season state and is BETTER than the Vikings defense, especially in this matchup. Cardinals had ONE big run then were shut down.
Stop listening to the talking heads and do your own research, even if it puts you on the same side as the dickhead, genetic drift benefitter OP.

Minne is last in interceptions and that is the only way the Saints D gets off the field...
22nd in rush D
26th in pass D
against a team that leads the league in sacks, out rushes the Saints, and has superior rush and pass D to the Saints...
Perhaps you get away with it but, I think taking the worse defensive unit and rushing game at -200 is a stupid bet.

GL Havelin... but i cannot understand for the life of me why you would make that play...
looking at the longterm profit on a play like that... the Saints would have to win this game 2 out of 3 times just to break even! there is no way in hell the Saints would win this game 2 out of 3 times... at the very BEST they would take 3 of 5, but even that is reaching... and again, that is just to break even...
only reason i could see making this play is if you have a futures bet on Vikes to win the NFC... otherwise there is nothing that supports this play...

incidentally, i haven't been even close to wrong on a game where i felt strongly that the dog would win straight up in well over a month...
Wyoming over Fresno
Marshall over Ohio U
Air Force over Houston
Ohio St over Oregon
Iowa over Ga Tech
NYJ over Cincy
NYJ over SD
that's 7 straight games that i preached that the dog would definitely win straight up...
i am telling you right now... the Vikings will definitely win straight up!

it's possible, Bruce... but then again i would have to lose more like 12-15 in a row to counter those 7 wins, since they all came at odds, and a couple were at 3:1 or better...
anyway... bet what you want... but i am supremely confident that the Vikes will win this week...
