Been watching football for a very long time. Why did Shanahan not throw the challenge flag on that play that clearly wasnt a catch? And why wasn't it reviewed in the first place? Then Purdy and even Josh Johnson both get injured and we have nobody to throw the ball? And all the horrific penalties. Wow, just wow. Never seen such a frustrating, helpless deflating loss ever.
It is what it is. Congrats to Philly backers. We will be back even stronger next year.
Hopefully people now see what Im always talking about how Shanahan is a massive choker and just loses it in big moments. Heres a little hint buddy, when the receiver is motioning for his team to hurry up and get a snap off before they have a chance to review it, it usually means that it wasnt a catch.

My friend was saying in text that if that isnt called a catch, the Purdy injury likely never happens. Who knows. Im not qualified to make that determination but what I do know is we were absoilutely robbed of a good game on multiple levels and that was the most disappointing ending to a season Ive ever seen and believe me as a Niner fan Ive seen some tough ones.
