Hello Everyone,
 
I want to introduce myself to everyone, I am MONEYLINE MOOOSE and my name comes from the fact that I only bet moneyline on the NFL.  One thing I have noticed (as I am sure many of you have noticed also), while watching the NFL the last decade or so, is that any team can win on any given Sunday.  This is not college where the talent level is too much to overcome, these are men and these are professionals and their livelyhood depends on their performance. 
 
The NFL gets the most action in Vegas and the lines are usaully sharp, so I think the value in betting the NFL is the moneyline, where you are getting juice rather than giving (Note: I hate giving juice!).
 
Throughout the year I will be posting my 3 moneyline plays of the week, which all will be for 100 units and I will keep track and update my results.  (Note: for recreational purposes only!:)
 
Week 1 - Bufallo over Miami - +155
Buffalo is not getting a lot of respect these days, but I do not think they are as bad as everyone thinks.  They have started well out of the gates the last couple of years and at home in a divisional game they will find a way to get the victory.
 
Detroit over Chicago - +240
Jay Culter has been a losing quarterback his entire career...and well the Lions have been a losing team since they ran Barry Sanders out of town!  Well it's week 1 and Jim Schwartz has made believers out of the Lions and Mike Martz has created some uncertainty in the Bears camp.  The Lions have stockpilled high draft picks for years and this finally pays off as the Lions beat the Bears in week one and finish ahead of them in the division this year.
 
Pittsburgh over Atlanta - +115
How often to the Steelers get points at home?  I am going to take advantage of this while Big Ben spends time at college campuses!  They still have a strong running game and a good defense and QB Denis Dixon has been in the system for a year now and he is a great athlete who can do some damage with his legs.  He may not win the game for his team...but he will not loose it either.

all 3 teams have a chance to win and I do like the Lions shot to win.

I love the Steelers too Moose this Sunday. The Falcons will have a tough time cracking the Steeler's defense on the road.

Week 1 Results

Buffalo -100

Detroit  -100  close only counts in horseshoes, curling, etc

Pittsburgh  +115

Overall   -185  All teams were in the game to the end, can't ask for much more than that.

WEEK 2

Pittsburgh +220 - still not a lot of faith by the public in the Black & Gold, defense looked good last week and Steelers D shut down CJ in their last meeting.  I am looking for the Steelers O to have more production this week and for the Steelers to pull out another close victory.

Cincinatti +120 - Baltimore looked good last week, but I think they will have a let down after that emotional win and all of the trash talking.  Also a short week and Bengals swept the Ravens last year...I see the Bengals rebounding here.

NY Giants +190 - Tough to see the Colts starting 0-2, but the Texans showed the league a remedy to beat the Colts...by pounding the ball down their throats.  I see the Gmen doing the same and I think Eli will be more efficient this week and get revenge vs his big brother

WEEK 2 RESULTS

Pitt +220

Cincy +120

NYG -100

Total = +240

Overall =+55

WEEK 3

OAKLAND +190 - Run DMC has been hot and Cards D has been weak, look for the Raiders to control the clock and rally behind Bruce G.

SEATTLE +180 - Seattle is always tough at home and they catch SD napping in this one.

ATLANTA +155 - Big division battle hear, if ATL wants to be in consideration for the NFC south they have to win this one, which they will.  NO is on a short week and had to travel back from the west coast.

Good stuff MM...I'm on all three.  Any thoughts on Carolina (+150)?  Not sold on Cincy quite yet and Panthers' running game could keep this close to the end.

Coach,

I was at the Panthers game and cheering for the Panthers...but I had to put my money on the Bengals (gotta go with the mind not the heart).  Either way had to take Cincy, Panthers looked awful...I would not touch them for a while right now.

Week 3 was another good week, up 235 for the week for a total of 390 for the year, see breakdown in next post. 

Close to going 3-0 this week, being on the wrong side of the Polish bomber's short missed FG (was on the good side of a short missed FG in the Atlanta game.

Overall picks are 5-4 moneyline but a sharp 8-1 ATS (only play ML, profitable either way).  Dogs are 20-28 SU this year, lots of value there.  Results are in excel in next post (would not fit in one post).

Anyone know how to attach an excel spreadsheet to a post?  I have all my results in a spreadsheet and it say that a post has a max of 7800 characters...but it only has a 1000 or so?
 
Any help would be appreciated...week 4 pics will be posted later in the week.

Tried that, tried copying to word and then pasting still didnt work.

you should be able to highlight your data (all the cells, not the whole sheet), right click copy, then right click paste into the message box. worked for me. if not, you have something in your data that's making it too large. formulas or references to other cells/sheets perhaps?

WEEK 3

Baltimore +125 - Charlie Batch will have a tough test vs the Ravens D and I see a couple of turnovers being the difference in this game and Flacco being able to contribute a couple of TDs.

SF +230 - SF is down in the dumps right now, but they have fired their Offensive Cordinator and they will get back to focusing on the running game and Frank Gore and Singletary will rallly the troops.  Atlanta will be in a let down spot after their big win vs NO last week.

Jacksonville +290 - Jaguars always play Indy tough and may catch the Colts in a down week.  If David Garrard can protect the ball the Jags should be able to use MJD to expose the Colts weak D.

Hey mooose -- you miscalculated your Week 1 results I think. -200 and +115 = -85, not -185.

Moneyline Mooose is hot right now! 2-1 last week and 7-5 overall - that is not ATS but Moneyline!  My picks ATS are an incredible 11-1 (but I only play moneyline!).

Week 4 Results

SF vs Atlanta -100 - still not sure how the 49ers blew this one!  Prevented a 3-0 week on a stupid play be a veteran corner!

Jacksonville vs Indy +290 - big pay day on a long FG by the Jags - I dont think I have ever seen a kicker so excited!  Jags play the Colts tough and now both are 2-2.

Baltimore vs Pitt +125 - good finish to a great game.

Wish I could paste my spreadsheet of my results for all to view, but it is too many characters and I have not found a way to format it so that it will be allowed.  Here is a summary:

Moneline Picks - This week 2-1, overall 7-5

Profit - this week +315, overall +705 

ATS - this week 3-0, overall 11-1

Total Moneyline Winners (dogs that have won outright) - this week 6-8, overall 26-36.
