Why, because he thinks the Saints are going to win somewhere between 10-14 points? I used to be a "value" player until I realized I was just justifying losing on betting long shots. Would rather bet 200 to win 40 and hit than bet 50 for a shot at 250 and lose.

I don't come here and research people's opinion's for nothing. Since most of you hate this pick I may just hedge it and take the night off. Thanks for your thoughts guys...I would rather break even tonight then lose $200 if the Saints do somehow lose and I'm just not confident in the spread or any teasers...I think the Saints to win but I have absolutely no clue by how much.

URISS2302 I understand your logic that it is too risky and foolish and 99% of the time I would agree but my logic behind this goes deeper than picking a side....Suppose I like the Saints to win the game but think the Falcons will cover the +12...So I take the Falcons +12 and the Saints end up winning it by 14+ even though I actually liked the Saints to win the game anyway? Saints just have to win for me that's it...don't have to worry about anyone covering....If I lose this one it will be an expensive lesson learned and even if I win it is unlikely I would risk this much for a minimal gain again. 2 units to win a half unit (not even) is not my styl and I admit it is stupid and foolish but tonight it is worth the heavy risk to me....
