Allen’s physical ability will keep them in games either way. The dude has a cannon for an arm and his ballsy scrambling style is nearly impossible to stop. I thought the last drive he put together in regulation was a thing of beauty. Every pass was just about perfect including the one that got called back to diggs. The guy will throw 4 ints one day and 4 tds the next. Bottom line is that his talent level is off the charts and he handles pressure better than most qbs in the league. Don’t count them out just yet.
Sorry but this to me is on one person and thats the GM he never helped Allen in the off season to get him help at the receiver position. Diggs is his only option. They have no other wideout. They picked Kincaid in the first round I like that. Davis Shakir Harty all not number 2 receivers. They could have got him more help for deep throws. Beane got Floyd on dee but never addressed the WR position at all.

When he played last year in games he started and finished. He lead the league is pretty much all the major categories. Numbers do not lie. U think the chargers game was a fluke. Reason why they could not pressure him was he was getting out the ball within 2 seconds. He throws with crazy anticipation and accuracy….before the receivers make their break. He had like 3-4 off script plays in the chargers game that he is not k own for. He has the best footwork/pocket presence of all qb’s… he does not need to rely on running line all the other qb’s.. pure QB. He’s winning the MVP this year. He put on 10lbs of muscle this offseason. He is much stronger
Exactly. You never said he wasn’t a good QB just pointed out the health concerns and one great game in week 1 does not eliminate the risk there.
I heard he trained on falling better on the off-season too. Hopefully that combined with increased strength will help prevent his head from oddly slamming against the ground. Never seen my thing like that before.
