But ,yeah one year removed from the Patriots and back in the Superbowl.  This isn't basketball where you can throw together three players and be a champion.  So much more difficult.  Great match up for the Superbowl in Tampa Bay which again is Surreal.  He may play til he is 45. He looks as good as he did a decade ago. Amazing.

HGH/PEDS wonderful drugs. When you’re better at 43 than 33. Lebron and Brady.

You wanna crown his ass? Go ahead, but i'll take an Aaron Rodgers highlight reel over a Brady one any day.  It's fine to call him the G.O.A.T. but from an eye perspective, rodgers has and will always be a more talented player with a team that holds him down every time.

Neither one of these guys are nearly as good as they were when they were younger but yeah, their HGH/PED game is strong. There is all kinds of experimental shit out there as well. Dudes are turning back the clock. It's not all about anabolic steroids anymore. It's about anti-aging and regeneration.

All the drives by Roger's were pretty but still cant execute when needed the most.  Roger's did quick passes which was beautifully done to March down the field unlike Brady n his hard to catch passes.  Evans butter fingers were iffy but catchable.

Luck is on Brady side.  Would of been better to see the state farm bowl instead.  GB n kc had a much stellar regular season record.

Kc back to back but then again, you got Brady n lucky jinx, I hate to bet against brady. .

    @budwiser

Lol what? I think you need to google “Jordan Rules”. And as far as the Pistons getting old, that’s a myth. You can google that also SMH. Really, the things people spout off just because they heard someone say it on YouTube once.

It all started with Bledsoe getting hurt.

He may be lucky but they say you make your own lick.

Call it whatever you want but the dude is a baller, there's a reason he's been to 10 SB's.

You think TB would've gotten anywhere near playing in the SB if Jameis was still the QB?

The big 6 in life to achieve athletic greatness...  Go through all the greats, MJ, TW, TB, Messi, Lewis Hamilton (had to toss in a couple non Americans)

    1. God given ability. Goes without saying...

    2. Obsession.  Think about it, train it 24/7.

    3. Luck of the draw.  Right time, right place, right circumstances.

    4. Chip-on-their-shoulder.  “experts” told them they’d never amount to anything or be good enough due to size, skill, colour of their skin, etc.  Only fuelled them, out to prove the world wrong.

    5. Dominance.  Minimum a decade of simply being on the top of your profession.

    6. Emotionless.  Under pressure, feel nothing.  In game, their assholes.

Bonus.  When discussing ones sport, no need to mention the full name, the athletes first name is enough.

I don’t say Championships are the defining stat to determine the GoAT but it has to be a focal point of the argument.   Not the bullseye but you can’t ignore winning.  That’s the essence of competition, winning.

Tompa (I saw somebody write that and I started giggling; yes, small things amuse small minds...) is the GoAT.  As a guy who has watched him for the last 20 years being at the top of his profession, I’m comfortable to say it.  My Dad, in his 70’s will disagree.  He grew up in a different time and watched a different game and that’s where we get great debates (over pints).

It’s generational.  It’s like that for all sports.

And that’s what makes the argument so great.  Sports evolve, from the athletes themselves to the rules to the way the game is played.  If we all agreed on the GoAT, well there’d be no arguments and that’s just f’n boring.

Is Tom the GoAT?  To me, yes.  To my old man, no.  To my kid who’s now a fan, maybe but I’m sure that will change in 20-25 years...

    @Phillip2002

It is pretty amazing when you think about it. I'm like you in that i don't get caught up in the adulation of the guy. The thing is, he's driven and he works his ass off, so as some might say, he makes his own luck. That still doesn't account for ALL that success. So the short answer is YES, he's lucky when it comes to how things have worked out in his career. But if you track any single championship team in the NFL you'd see that luck played a part in their championship season. The only exceptions I can think of are the '85-86 Bears and maybe the late 70's Steelers & late 80's 49ers. But even those span a single season, maybe two at most. We're looking at 20 years here! This is once in a lifetime stuff. The only comparison I can think of that I've witnessed is outside of sports. The Beatles. Four guys who by themselves had lots of talent but together they transcended the entire music scene. It's the same formula with Brady + TEAM (assuming that team commits to making it happen).

For me, it's this particular season, with a new team that I didn't really believe could do it (even tho I played the futures) that really puts him over the top. I've got them at +1200 to win this super bowl tho I don't believe they will but it's possible. The Bucs don't look like the same team they were a month ago. In fact here's a test: Can Brady's influence counter act the effects of media week??

Too many of you think I am doubting Brady. Of course the guy is a stud and the GOAT. but the luck on this guy is insane. Two of those things can be true at once

If we are talking about luck...

The Bucs just faced GB without starting left tackle Bakhteiri. Now get to face KC without starting left tackle Eric Fisher.

you think that super model is dumb?  She realizes who he is.  If she didnt look up to him she wouldnt be with him.  He is superlative to most males, and nothing has been given to him. Pretty sure this isn't luck.

TB's mindset, focus and drive is unreal.

True and both  things are needed for ANY sport domination like Brady's run...  In any competition you need to be and lucky and  good to win at that rate.. But to say he has been all luck to win all the games he  did is laughable..  LUCKY for over 20 years !! I remember when Tiger got on a  roll for years it  seemed every other ball  he hit into the woods came bouncing back out at an unreal rate.. Was Tiger the GOAT IMO yes and great and a tad bit lucky..  Yes... Unlucky guys are losers.. LOL..

Lol every thing he has was given to him by billionaires. They decide his fate. And marriages like his are entirely arranged. That's not some natural attraction. She was provided for him.

Rodgers panicked on that play. He thought he saw something with Adams that wasn't there. If he could have that play back, he would've waltzed into the end zone or get stopped a few yards short or who knows? maybe a personal flag is thrown. Have to shoot your shot and live with the results.  That coward queer Pepe LeFleur did exactly what Tampa wanted him to do, kick the worthless FG. A gut wrenching loss for GB on so many levels.

    1) Aaron Jones <-- When is the last time an opposing player did as much as he did to help the other team win? especially when he's your 3rd best player. Unreal, just surreal.

    2) King <-- need i say more? this is the same clown who gave up the TD before the half and also got a hand full of jersey to end the game for GB with the holding penalty.

    Adams? dropping a TD pass?

How did all these things happen? YES Brady is undoubtly the luckiest sports player in the history of sports. He was 6-14 in the second half with 3 interceptions and a QBR in the low 70's and still won the game. an_roll_laugh
