No, bc they know they got their shit pushed in by a superior and still undefeated saints team. look at every schedule for every team this season. no one has an overly impressive schedule, so the whole havent beaten anyone argument is kind of a dead end. Saints have a very legitimate shot to make it to the NFC championship game, and be in the big game. is it a certainty? NEVER. but right now, they are in the best position to do so. now stop arguing, u have no leg to stand on anymore.

not sure why i keep coming in to defend the saints but oh well....the rams were on the 38 yard line and threw a hail mary to the endzone, but i guess thats technically 1 pass, just a little misleading...brees one and only off game of the season(and he was way off by his standards) and the saints still win by 5 on the road

That was the worst defensive performance by a Patriots team I have seen in at least 9-10 yrs. Blown coverages, no adjustments, they were outplayed by an emerging team in the NFL. Someone mentioned their lack of pass rush, well if you knew anything about their defensive scheme, it does not involve much of a pass rush at all. It is more of a reactionary spot zone defence. As it looks now, this team will make the playoffs, they didnt last year, and most likely will be done after their first opponent, depending on who that is...They will acquirre thru veteran free agency the players needed to fix the horrid secondary they have now. They cannot wait for this bunch to develope if they want to stay competitive with the top teams. The troubled looks on Brady and Belichek's faces towards the end of the game was also something I've rarely seen.
This team always adjusts, and has certainly taken a large hit with the loss of defensive players who have left. It was frustrating as hell to watch last night. But anything can happen come playoff time.

Calm down people we can pick and choose on each team about there mishaps, you are right they almost lost to the Rams. Vikes should have lost to the 49ers, Pats should have lost to Buffalo etc etc..........

Overrated? how? theyre 7-4, primed for a home game in the wildcard round and the thing your forgetting matey the patriots are making mistakes now, they can still make adjustments before the playoffs....who would of thought the cardinals defence would step up in the playoffs like they did last year.Its just 1 game, calm down.

seriously... that's fucking ridiculous for you to say the Colts got "really lucky" to win that Super Bowl... they were easily the best team in the postseason... the defense was by far better than any other team once the playoffs started... that's why they won...

New Orleans definitely showed up for that game and punished NE. That being said, you can't say NE is the most overrated team in NFL. The line was set because NE basically had INDY beat in INDY and books weren't 100% sure what kind of team NO was. Seems like it was probably a good line as bets were made on both sides based off the line.
Congrats to NO on a huge win, but the AFC is still wide open and NE could still make a run in the playoffs. NO and MINN are probably the two teams that would give NE the most trouble and they play in the NFC.
I like the Vikes chances vs. NO also Kappy.
