I THINK THEY ARE OVERATED BECAUSE WE JUDGE TEAMS BY PREVIOUS YEARS, I MEAN, WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE PATS, WE THINK ABOUT THOSE CHAMPIONSHIPS THEY HAVE WON, THE GREAT RUNS THEY HAVE HAD, THE 16-0 SEASON, ETC ... BUT LET BE HONEST RIGHT NOW THEY ARE A SLIGHT ABOVE AVERAGE TEAM, A GOOD ONE AT HOME BUT STRUGGLING ON THE ROAD, AND BESIDES A NICE OFFENSE, THEY LACK TALENT ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE, WHERE IS THE PASS RUSH?? THEY LACK PASS RUSH BIG TIME, AND WHEN YOU LOSE RODNEY HARRISON, RICHARD SEYMOUR, TEDY BRUSCHI, ASANTE SAMUEL, TY LAW, MIKE VRABEL , IT IS GONNA CATCH YOU SOMETIME AND YOU LL STRUGGLE AT DEFENSE ...

I often stick up for Belichek  for for his ability to make proper adjustments,evaluate players, and place them in situations to suceed, but last night he was severly outcoached. It was pretty clear from the 1Q that the Pats O-line wasn't gonna be able to handle the pass rush and blitzes that NO was sending. So instead of making adjustments to their offensive gameplan they stuck with their same one that clearly wasn't working. I would of liked to see NE use more HB draws, WR screens (to Welker), and quick slants to offset the NO pass rush but NE stuck with their slow developing plays that require time in the pocket.

The Patriots went 18-1 the year after "spygate".  Honestly, calling them cheaters for the entire decade is just childish and sour grapes. 

The Saints exposed the Pats last night.  I have not seen a Patriots team manhandled like that since Drew Bledsoe and Tony Eason were QBs. However, I would not want to face the Patriots in the playoffs this year.  Your choice 1st round of playoffs - Balt, Cincy, Den, SD, Pitt, or New England.
