The Jets will make the playoffs and amazingly, the Jets will have 2 straight weeks of teams dumping their respective games for them as they back in to the playoffs in easily the single most unearned playoff spot in perhaps my entire lifetime
..this is the truth..you can thank the fear of letting pittsburg in as a wildcard.. jet fans...and im not a steelers fan by any means..but these AFC teams played their a** off this week (pitt, balt, houston, denver) to watch a bad rookie Qb (who in my opinion shouldnt take a snap until 2011 like rodgers) and whos DEF feels like (UNC's with TJ yates)..get into playoffs bc they all know they can route em in wildcard,,I know it will never happen but id love to see indy fall to the jets in the playoffs..BC of this.. I will cheer for Rex and Mark they know theyre getting no respect....

I think what may make sense here is to play the Jets -10 and Texans -8 right now and see how it plays out later in the week. We may find out more info later in the week about who's playing and see what happens in the NE game. If NE comes out w/ all cylinders firing and wins that game against Houston then load up on the Jets w/ whatever you lost on the Texans. Cincy doesn't want to play Pittsburgh or B'more again regardless of what the outcome was during the season.
To be honest, Cincy isn't that good anyway. What scares me though is the Jets offense is pathetic and they don't cover the 10 because dirty Sanchez sucks and Rex Ryan may not punish Cincy for not playing their starters i.e. get a lead and run the ball into the line and punt. Cincy will probably do the same thing w/ L.J. just to get the game over. The under may very well be a play here.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Even as the players headed to the bus to take them to The Meadowlands for Sunday night’s game, they weren’t sure how Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis was going to play the regular-season finale against the Jets.
“What’s going on?” asked one starter and when the answer was a shrug, he shrugged back.
Head coach Marvin Lewis tipped his hand with the inactive list when he sat starting running back
If they beat the Jets, they secure the third seed and play a Houston team that beat them back on Oct. 18 at Paul Brown Stadium, 28-17, in another PBS matchup next weekend in a Wild Card Game. If the Bengals lose, they play the Jets again with the fourth seed, but this time at PBS.
It would appear that Lewis doesn’t covet the AFC’s third seed as much as he does getting his team healthy and rested for next weekend. But he is starting
More indications that Lewis has the health of his team in mind came with Peko's inactivation. Peko practiced for the first time last week since his Dec. 7 arthroscopic knee surgery but will take a seat, as well as Geathers, who hasn't missed a game this season but didn't practice at all last week with a knee ailment.
