Redskins will knock out brees

Redskins for the straight up win

whats the MONEY LINE paying?

lol @ new england being one of the best teams, thats funny!

new england is just another average team...

but they play in the afc east...buffalo sucks, jets sucks, dolphins suck!!! thats 6 wins right there, who cares...

exactly all the teams in the afc east have a losing record!!!

new england is not that good, defense gave up 35 to indy, 38 to saints!

so new orleans better get down to earth...redskins are playing good ball in the last month or so but since the QB position isnt all that...thats why they are not winning the close games

the defense held dallas to 7 pts

hope the redskins pull off the shocker, just blitz brees all game long!

AFC EAST plays the toughest schedule in the NFL this year, playing the AFC and NFC south divisions. Get a clue bro. Miami has 6 losses and 5 have been to playoff teams from last season. New England IS still a very good team. Clearly not a powerhouse as in years past, but a very good PLAYOFF football team.

Blitz Brees all game long and watch what happens. He will eat the Redskins alive if they choose to go that route.

I completely agree with you on this point.  I think the way to beat the Saints is to mix up your blitz and coverage packages.  Do more delayed blitzes than straight blitzes.  Take away Dree's underneath and dump off routes and make him go deep against double coverage.  When you do get a hit on him make it count.  Hit him with everything you have.  Make him feel it.

Most importantly you need to have a strong offense that can control the clock, wear down the Saints D and keep Drew off the field.  This is how you beat the Saints.  Other than DAL or perhaps CAR I am not sure that there is another team that NO plays the rest of the regular season that can do that to Drew and the Saints.  I guess we will see but blitzing all day is never the answer to any situation.  Sure it might stall a drive or two but good QBs will make adjustments.  Drew is a good QB and he makes adjustments faster than nearly anyone (I still think Peyton is the best at this).

And almost lost to St. Louis

This NO team has momentum swings. MNF in their own dome, they were fired up!!! But against some weaker teams, they've come out with a lil less steam and not covered.

However, as shitty as they are, Washington's D ALWAYS keeps games a low scoring affair, they've covered for me the last few weeks.... All aboard the Foreskins spread covering train!

 Agreed. That dude made the most donkey statement i've read in a while and should not post on covers. Miami's first few losses came against Philipe Rivers, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady.... using their own backup.

Buffalo has been inconsistant, but some games conjures up the talent to play a good team, same with the Jets.

New England still has half their team from their dynasty, more then enough for post-season...

You guys fail to realize that the Saints have a verrrry underated offensive line. Look at the Giants game when they were 5 and 0, They couldn't touch Brees, and I think they have one of the best front four in football. You seriously are a joke.  Again with your unsubstantiated opinion.  Where are the facts that help your position?  What you don't have any.  Again let me educate you (I know, I know I can do this all day and continue to do so... word of advise these past education lessons have been free the next ones will cost you).  The NYG front 4 that you seem to think is the best front 4 in football has been very bad this year.  Many teams (including the MIN Vikings are substantially better).  Now you are probably going off of your recollection from last year and years past when they were good but that defense has been decimated with injuries and inconsistencies.  Just to let you know Lawerence Taylor doesn't lay for the NYG anymore.  Also that Michael Strahan guy has retired.  Look below for the FACTS and not my opinion:

NYG total sacks are 23 for the season, whereas 16 other teams have more sacks then them and 3 other teams tied them with 23.  Therefore, NYG are actually ranked toward the bottom on getting to the QB and sacking them (a true hallmark of a great four 4).  Now on the other hand MIN had 40 sacks and leads the NFL in that category.

NYG total tackles are 448 for the season, whereas 27 other teams have more total tackles than them.  Now this stat can be misleading because it can either mean a lot of missed tackles (which ask any NYG fan and they will tell you has been an issue with them this year) or just not on the field enough to record tackles.  In either event NYG are not getting off the field enough as indicated by the fact that they are giving up 23.7 points per game, which is tied for 26th in the league.

Sister, at one point coming into the season, on paper they were regarded as on the best front four. I think a couple of key players are hurt. They need better CB's they can't cover anyone, I do like Aaron Ross he is a player. THe Giants are suffering from a lot of injuries this season on defense.

Finally something constructive to discuss.  I would agree on paper they have a great front four but you know as well as me that on paper doesn't a team make.  They need to produce on the field.  The NYG front four hasn't produced this year as a matter of fact they are near the bottom of every single defensive category.  Therefore, NO hasn't been tested with the above gameplan by a team that could actually use it.  Whether it works or not who really knows.  But that is the only time you are going to truly know how special this team is.  You just cannot get into a track meet with this team.  That is what they want you to do.

Dude I cannot believe you are never going to let this go.  It is a fact, I have proven it... neither team has been adequately tested so far this year.  I would say perhaps only INDY has been test of all the touted Superbowl contenders.  Both MIN and NO have had easy schedules.  But you can live in whatever dream world you want.  I still think that gameplan if properly executed could beat NO.  MIN has the personnel to do it but things change during a game (such as injuries, turnovers, etc) so we will see.

take washington +9. I agree saints will be flat and eek out a victory if possible. skins pass D is good and saints no choice to run the ball. They need reggie bush for this game. This week defines saints running game, as brees will throw ints if he keeps throwing.

i predict that this line's going to be moving into double digits as the week moves on, so i'm on the saints early.  no way they're going to win by less than 10.  they'll roll over skins by at least 20.

Here is my interpretation, for what it's worth.  This years Saints are NOT the old Saints and I believe they will keep their focus and intensity for the Redskins game.  I took the - 9 1/2 and bought the hook so I have Saints -9.  This is all a matter of who thinks what.  Good luck on your plays unless you take Washington + 9 1/2.

Skins should be riding a three game winning streak as DD dogs but for some horrible coaching decisions on the Offense side.  Easiest cover for three weeks running.  That defense is playing excellent ball.  The question is whether they can withstand the Saints.  My biggest concern would be if they have much left in the tank after two disappointing defeats.  Still, I'm taking the points.  Again.

Settle down people the line is gonna be suspect every week from here on out because the odds of going undefeated are against the Saints. The same thing is happening to the Nets in the NBA the would Normally be getting more points than they are of lately. Check it out for yourself.
