I guess you're one of those guys who thinks the Saints are overrated? 11-0 and just put a beat down on one of the best teams in the league.
Of course he is, that is why he started a dumb thread like this. You guys have to understand that on any given sunday (just like the movie) any team can lose, so that why the lines are like this. Example Minnesota line was 11 at home against the sorry bears. You just have to give some respect to Washington, they have a killer defense, Ranked 4th or 5th

I believe the line is -9 because the skins BEAT New Orleans last year, and have covered 3 games in a row. 2 of those as DD dogs. I'm laying off this game. I've noticed that teams that haven't covered in a while, then go on a covering streak, it usually ends at 3. This would be the 4th game.

4) wash averages 15 ppg ...NO averages 37 (thats a 22 point differential for those that are math challenged)...
5) the best offense wash has played was Atlanta, and they lost by 14 ( some of you think Dallas and Philly are good, but Atl is more well rounded)...

Probably a loser who lives at home with his parents and only has his Saints to make him feel whole in life. This is probably the happiest he has ever been and probably ever will be. As it relates to the game. If I play it I will be putting WASH in a teaser. But I will probably lay off. WASH just coming off an emotional loss, all the injuries, etc I don't know if this is the best game on the board. BOL!

possible let down spot here after a big win...actually I consider it to be somewhat of an upset because New England is still New England. Washington has been showing some signs of life past couple of week. They could have won at Phila if only they know how to close out games at the end. I think the line is about right...weather could also be a factor for this game.

I dont think its been mentioned but the 'Skins have the 7th best defense overall [yardage] and the BEST pass defense [yardage]
Thats gotta count for something.
Stl, Det, TB, KC and car (when Delhomme was throwing 5 picks per game) will make your numbers look good.....NO has only been held under 30 twice this year....

Action will probably be 90% on Saints. Vegas is begging for that making the line under DD. After their last MNF game vs ATL, they came out EXTREMELY flat the following Sunday vs the Panthers, before Carolina shit on themselves (D Will late fumble turning a 23-20 game with the ball, to a 30-20 "it's over").
Expect more of the same. Big time let down spot. It's also a very tough spot for the Skins. Yes, their defense is playing much better of late, and Campbell is looking more like an NFL calibre QB. But with Portis and Betts out, their running attack has to rely on Rock Cartwright. Cooley has been placed on IR and will miss the rest of the season, as well, he was easily Campbell's favorite target. IF, the Saints can come out rocking (which I doubt they will) then they can cover this number. IF, they come out lacks as they did last time after MNF, their sloppy play will be turned around in the 2nd half and they will come away with the SU win, but not the ATS cover. They just slaughtered a very good Patriots team, at home, on MNF. Now they have to travel 3 time zones, play at 1PM EST, against a team with nothing to lose, when they have home-field advantage on the line.
Remember, it's getting late in the season. Oddsmakers would LIKE every team to end up about 8-8 ATS. The Skins sit at a measly 4-7 ATS, while the Saints are money makers at 8-3 ATS. Technically, the oddsmakers don't have to trap anyone right now as the Saints are the publics jewel. If this line were -14, it wouldn't stop the public from hammering the Saints in this terrible spot. Something smells very fishy here...
Look for this one to be closer than many give credit.
