A coach's job is to put his players in the best situation to win, John Fox definitely DID NOT do that.

Since then they adapted the Option like offense to fit his streangth, how has that worked? 5-0 and counting.

    ADAPT OR DIE

The point I'm making is that, if your opponent has a good enough offense to score on Denver's defense, the game won't be close enough for Tebow to win.

Tebow CANNOT win a game in a shootout. The defense is HIS savior. If the game is close...he can do what he does on the final drive. If he faces an offense that will score 3 TDs in a half...he won't be able to drive his team to a win unless McGehee does all the work like he did against Oakland.

I see you guys are clearly annoyed that I'm actually fighting this with intellecutal responses which is why all you guys have to say now is "just admit you're wrong".

And, once again, I'll admit that I'm wrong IF he beats the Bears AND Patriots. If he doesn't do that...than he's not "WINNING" against good teams.

Top QBs win Superbowls. Unless your defense is historical...you won't win without a great QB.

You made my point. That's six out of 32.

I was just showing their career numbers to prove that you don't have to be a great passer or put up big passing numbers to win this league.

And when it comes to Tebow, he isn't putting up great passing numbers, decent ones, but not great...yet is winning!!!

Winning games is different when the competition gets better.

All I heard after yesterday's game was "Tebow does it again". Gotta feel bad for McGehee and that defense.

    Obviously, you will never understand.

You made my point. That's six out of 32.

    I don't get what you're saying.

Those 6 quarterbacks were 6 of the best quarterbacks going into this season and they have won 9 of the last 10 superbowls. The only other team to have won in that span was the 2002 Bucs who had one of the better defenses of all time.

It's official. I just keep repeating myself. It's irrelevant at this point because only after the Bears and Patriots game will my point be made.

So I won't be posting here until than unless I feel it's necessary.

This will give Tebow's Cult time to figure out how to fight back after a few L's.

You said Tebow cannot win in a shootout?

First of all. How do you know? Have you seen him play in one, in the NFL?

Secondly, don't forget last year in his 1st start he threw for 308 yards and 1 TD and also ran for another TD, against the Texans.

Then in his 2nd start he threw for 205 yards 2TD's and also ran for 94 more yards and another TD. against the Chargers.

I think these are pretty good numbers for a guy that can't pass or play in the NFL and that "sucks".

You keep arguing about sample size.

So if he wins those games he is great but if he loses, he sucks?

Good/great quarterbacks lose games too ya know.

I also have seen nothing even close to intellectual from you this entire thread.

I noticed how you skipped this question.

You claim Denver is mostly winning games because of their runningbacks and Defense. Why couldn't those same players win with Kyle Orton?

Of course he is going to get some losses, it is inevitable.

Tebow makes the defense better, the whole team better.  Denver will make the playoffs!

Maybe because McGahee had to shed off some rust after coming off his lowest carry attempt season of his career as a strict backup.

Maybe because Elivs Dumervil started the season hurt and DJ Williams missed his first 2 games.

Maybe because Matt Prater didn't get enough sleep.

Maybe because Brian Dawkins stubbed his toe.

So you think that Dumervil and Williams being hurt had nothing to do with the defense starting the season poorly?

You must not know too much about football other than what you hear on ESPN I guess.

    I don't watch ESPN.

Those players being hurt for 2 weeks didn't affect the Broncos sucking for 6 or 7 weeks.

Orton also had the option of handing to Moreno or Mcgahee.

Remember when Tebow won and his only back was Ball?

No prob not, because that would hurt your point so you choose not to acknowledge that

A win is a win in the NFL.  If you have been to an NFL game (not just watched on TV) if you have season tickets, if you understand the game, you will know that you ARE what your record says you are.

This isn't college football or the NBA.  To win a game in the NFL is VERY VERY hard.  The margin of victory on average is something like 3 points for EVERY game.

He doesn't turn the ball over, and gives his TEAM a chance to win.  Who knows what the future holds, if you knew you would actually be good at wagering, but you don't have a crystal ball.  Tim Tebow is 5-1 in the NFL nothing more nothing less.  Only God knows what will happen next.

oh my God, you're a moron!

let me guess... if he went 16-0 for the next 5 years and won every Super Bowl for the next 10 years... he would still suck, right?  because you are so fucking smart when it comes to football...

you are a moron, and every team in the NFL (including Denver) was idiotic for letting a guy who is that much of a proven winner last beyond the 3rd round... i said before the draft, and he has proven me right!

    Lol.

Josh McDaniels traded up to draft Tebow in the first round.

My guess is he went like 22nd or 23rd pick, but thats a guess off the top of my head.

He was DEFINITELY a first round draft pick.

Of course it did. If you don't have a threat like Dumervil to rush the QB...they'll score all over you. Why don't you make a thread saying Dumervil's injury meant nothing to the Broncos' defense starting slow and see how much heat YOU get.

And yes...that game when Ball was his only back...Ball had almost more rushing yards than Tebow had total yards. That was against the Chiefs.

And the game when it was Ball/Moreno...he lost to the Lions.

    Keep digging yourself a hole.
