Green Bay vs Atlanta

This game SCREAMS GB ML!!   They will advance. Atlanta had a nice year - but not ready to advance to the next level.  And who in the hell wants to see them in the Super Bowl anyway??  They are just one of those franchises that most people don't have a feel for either way.  Very boring SB imo if they make it - but GB wins anyway so that point in MOOT.

PACKERS are the new, hot chick until they lose Saturday evening. I do see a real closely played game and love that we can win with the FG. Remember, Akers hits a few FGs and this is the IGGLES were talking about. Time for Smith and his Falcons to show they belong and no better team to do it against. That GB "D" will see plenty more chances to tackle an RB this week. FLY FALCONS FLY! BOL

Falcons are hard to beat at home, laying less than a FG in the playoffs looks like a pretty safe bet to me.

I will say that the 2.5 line does scare me a little bit, it reminds me of the Colts -2.5 vs. the Jets...

I mean, it is somewhat rare but this could be a two point game...

Indy were winning that game 16-14... so even if the Jets wouldn't have kicked the GW FG, Indy wouldn't have covered... could be a similar situation here.

Moneyline might be safer

A huge loss for most of the game, and I am not saying it was the only reason they lost, but it certainly did not help their cause.

I like Ryan, this guy is good, whats interesting to me is that you have a reversal of situations, last week, Rodgers was a guy who had not won a playoff game, and now its Ryan who is the QB who needs to win a playoff game to gain credibility in the NFL.. This is the game of his life.

He is at home in the dome, did you know hes 20-2 at home,that is Brady like numbers and just cause GB won last week and is hot does not mean that ATLANTA is not hot...they just had the bye, but is not that what every single team plays for, a week to rest and prepare for a playoff game.??

I love ALT here because this team earned it..and they even won big games on the Road and on grass..

They will gain respect this weekend if they beat Rodgers and the Pack and I am betting that they do exactly that.

i totally agree with you.... it seems like a lot of people are picking green bay moneyline. but i think atlanta has this. i dont think it will be easy, but atlanta wins

I have to disagree... Ryan isn't a QB to go to the SB. It goes like this... Green Bay and New England to the Superbowl. GL!

ok simply put falcons beat GB earlier this year due to GB unloading ooodels of points two games in a row

45-7  31 -3  and falcons won on last second fg as a 2 point fav

so now they are whole big 1/2 point more favorite  - 2 1/2

home is nice place to be BUT NOT when YOU have a HURRICANE coming to your home !

was on GB at Philly  MONEY LINE   taking them again this WEEK ML

I agree, so many people are already convinced that Rodgers and the Pack are better.. We will find out Sat Night who is the better team...Splooge seems to think that the Falcons had an easier schedule but like you say, its pretty much the same boat for both teams.. Falcons have a ton of weapons -

I would like to see the Falcons go to the Super Bowl, any team that makes it deserves my attention..

I guess this whole conversation is MOOT since you know for a fact that GB is going to win,,, Who am I to think otherwise

GB tough win last week

Looks like ATL win

GB is not that good except to a cheese head and that is at best.

I am not looking for die hard fans but money oriented bettors.

Yes we all have a take on these games, thats why I love this site so much... my associate nbafan88 seems to feel the same thing, atleast thats what I think he is saying here.. The line is so low, and less than 3 for a 13-3 team at home is kind of a bargain,  or perhaps a Trap??  congrats on your GB win last week, and GL to you this weekend brotha

Very hard to beat at home.. 20-2 is Brady like..

laying -2.5 is a lot safer than laying -8.5  in other games.

I agree with you on the Falcons... although I don't anyone can say with confidence who will win this game.  Rodgers fumbled on the goalline in the last meeting and the Packers were still in the game until the end.

My opinion is people focus on what they have seen most recently... last week we all saw the Packers and Ravens win and it seems everyone is on both of those team.

I'm going with the Falcons and Steelers.  Lower spreads than I expected.  

Each game could go either way for sure.  2-Team Teasers may be the way to go this weekend.

Yes , same line was with Phili and the Colts as well.. I see a ton of favs that are less than 3 that end up losing the game..

ML is always safer and here it does not cost a bundle of cash.

But I tend to feel that if you cant bet less than 3 on a team your high on than its hard to justify gambling if u know what I mean

I will settle for a 3 point win as well. I think it will be tough and close to the end..

Well if you listened to the TV broadcast, Troy Aikman and Joe Buck seemed to be in love with the Packers too.    

Troy Aikman can't say enough about Aaron Rodgers.

On the other side w/ this one, but always respect your opinion. 

I truly believe the only painted picture to back this play is Green Bay's defense not showing up......... not sure on that one!!!!  I think I'll ride the UNDER a little heavier, with the notion the Pack wins a shootout.  Still tough to go against the way the Pack is playing Defense !!

in case i wasn't clear, I'm not predicting a shootout, but if it happens, I think the Pack wins, which would alleviate the losses playing the Pack +2.5.  I think the game stays under the total.....w/ the Pack winning.
