Awesome write-up, Bod-man! Thanks for sharing such an in-depth write-up!

C-Hawks may hang around in first half with the Bears being a little rusty but I think they finish the game convincingly with a win and a cover.

    Go BEARS!

@Bodio ,that is one of the best write ups ive read here on covers .
you helped break down not only the game but reason why they were now 10 pt favorites as opposed to 6 pts including seattle coming off a bye week and the fact that cutler had missed a week.
you also said that he was taking 7 step drops which he was and i agree ,he was taking 7 step drops 2 weeks prior to hawks game vs giants and i believe the giants line had a record 9 sacks vs bears by halftime. they changed their offense quite alot since the seahawks game and dont incorporate that many 7 step drops.their line is still suspect but martz said he went with shorter routes on play calls and it allows cutler to go through his reads faster. im loving the bears too just do not have the patience for the write up . if anyone was on the fence before your write they will thank you after sundays game cause you did a great job on this game.bears27-13 great job.

    I have a different take.

I do not have confidence in Cutler but I see in cold weather tease the under to 49 and find another tease strike like Jets +16?

very possible man.... after last week, you never know in the nfl w/ them knockin out the saints.

BUT the 1 thing everyone needs to remember, is we have ALL lost money backing jay cutler. I refuse to back Mr. Interception (doesnt mean im on SEA).

    BOL with your play though

I was impressed that some one could take so much time to dig up so many stats and compile that into one awesome report!!!!  I applaud your efforts it is rare that some one on this website can be so thorough with all the available information........

That being said I believe that you can not discount the desire that Coach Carroll has instilled in these players and the confidence that they showed in their last 2 wins....

I can not begin to tell you how many games I have lost because the game looked so good on paper and was sure that I had enough info to cap the correct winner!!!!

This team for whatever reasons is believing in themselves and just picture in your mind or better yet if you have access to the touchdown run by Lynch, you will realize that this team is on a mission.  They may fall short of victory, but I can tell you that I believe their DESIRE will at least cover this number!!!   SEA + 10

I was thinking about the slop that they play in that they call Soldiers field.   I think it favors offenses, by slowing down fast defenses like the Bears, and slows down both teams ability to rush the passer.   So the Over looks like it might be the better play (small play for me)  The Jets aren't exactly a scoring machine, but if they can hang 34 on the Bears on that field, Seahawks may well get more than 14.

No big deal, I'm not much for playing O/U anyway, just something for people to consider.

Seattle on the road after a big win and the Bears with a week off.Seattle  will no way play as good as they did last week especially on the road. This is a lil different situation than the last time the Bears played them. Also lets not forget people they went 7-9 for a reason they arent that good.Bears roll in this oneveven though it is going to be rough for me to lay DD.

Sea had 9 losses of 15 or more pts...two of those being 30+ blowouts...not that he is a stud but Garza also missed the first game

What does that have to with anything different situatioin. The Bears are a different team since then.As I said they are coming off a bye, they are heathy, their Off line is different and Martz has now had 11 more games to work with offense.Hester is also on kick and punt returns more frequently

Rex made his mark as a defensive coach,he will have a couple tricks up his sleeve i'm guessing. One big worry though, the Pats could be up by a few with a chance to either ice it or rub it in the Jets face a little.Which would they choose?

    Do you trust Hasselbeck?

His stats make Cutler look like Tom Brady
