It seems like everything else being equal - i.e. NE advantage is offense and NY advantage is defense.  However, NY has one other advantage that one should not overlook.  That advantage is Eli's brother...Peyton Manning.  And NO...I am not talking about Peyton coming in the game to play for Eli and NO...I am not talking about Peyton doing the spygate cheating like you know who. 

I am talking about Peyton able to give his own "blood" brother important pointers and tips about NE defense.  Peyton has played against NE so many times that I sure he knows how Belichick think.  I am sure Peyton did not sit on his butt the last 2 weeks doing nothing.  I am sure Peyton is looking over films and trying to pickup anything he can to help his brother.  It is almost like having extra set of eyes or someone you trust giving you inside information.  I am not saying that the NY head coach or the offense coordinators are incompetent.  I am saying it helps to have a future HOF quarterback who knows the opponent very well and giving you extra advice that otherwise you may have missed.

Winning championship is a big deal to the Manning's family.  Peyton will do whatever he can to help his brother to solidify his space in the HOF.
