Tombstoned,
If games werent fixed
why would public perception matter?
To me
Public perception is a way to identify the fix
Granted people gotta win sometimes too
but its those games
You know the ones Im talking about
THOSE GAMES
a perfect example Carolina -6 vs a dead in the water Colts Team
Carolina Dominated that game for 3 quarters
and first score of the 4th quarter
23-6 was the score
I was scratching my head thru whole 3 quarters
SMH
How are they going to let the public win this game
My cousin who is a book in San Diego told me
He doesnt have one not ONE Colts Bet
All Panthers and those who were up Put everything on the line
and those who were down bet not only to get even but to make a lights out profit.
I started questioning
Are these games really fixed? or am I living in a delusional world
Like some posters here have said.
Ofcourse no one at everyedge questioned my fix theories once Tim Donahy was caught fixing games
but I questioned my self
then it happened
Monumental comeback
and if you can go back and watch the game
You will see
the refs did their part to help engineer the comeback
and looks like the defensive play calling by the Panthers took the rest of the night off
It wasnt until the colts took a field goal lead in OT did the Panthers spring back to life winning 29-26
Was that just public perception?
Or something more sinister?
the line opened at 6.5
all the money in the world on the Panthers
and yet the line doesnt close at 6.5
doesnt close at 7
not 7.5
It was 5.5 to 6 the whole day and closed at 6
This tells me that Bookmakers were so comfortable with that game SOMEHOW so Comfortable
that they never moved it according to public perception
they dropped it to sucker in more Carolina action.
If the books position is to split bets they had no intention of doing it on this game
another game was UTAH 5-0 or 6-0 vs a struggling USC team
USC went from a 2.5 point favorite to a -6.5 favorite all the while everyone and their mother was pounding UTAH
My cousin said he told all his clients its -4 and thats it
he refused to raise it to -6.5
all the money was still on Utah +4 with him +6.5 everywhere else
USC Blows them out by 28
