    If you look at efficiency numbers and break it down on both sides of the ball by passing, rushing and receiving on offense; and by pass defense, pass rush, and rush defense — you will see something striking.

    Only one team is in the top five in both offense and defense — Kansas City.
    Only one other team is in the top ten in both offense and defense — Jacksonville.

    @Raiders22

     How do you feel about the movement in the Cleveland and Sea games? The move on Seattle is insane to me. 4-5 points for Sam Darnold? And in Cleveland how much difference is Watson to sanders? I know everyone loves Watson so far but it’s not like he’s lighting the league up. If not for the 4th quarter heroics does Cleveland have 4 wins? Not to say that that’s meaningless.

     Sanders is unpolished. Still a rookie basically. Dude holds onto the ball for a long time, reads and progressions are slow.

     Yeah.  I think an over reaction for sure.  I make Darnold at most 2.5 points better than Locke.

    I have Watson 1.5 better than Sanders.

    Watson has played decent at times but is streaky.

    The issue is that Sanders has not had any gametime action.  Young guys need that to get up to the pace of the game.

    He showed some good growth last year.  But that was after he had played a game or two.

    @Raiders22

     Would you consider a middle having such a good number on AZ? If we put aside the minshew comeback and the bears domination, we’re still talking about minshew on the road to face Seattle’s defense. I wouldn’t have laid the big number but 8 is more reasonable if you’re laying it with Seattle. Curious to see if this gets back towards 10 when the overreaction has settled.

    That is always a likelihood with early numbers that move.  But to be worth it I would think it would have to move through the 7.

    Wouldn't you think?  It is not like it is 3 or 4.

    Minshew is serviceable.  The question to me is how AZ can stop the pass -- no matter the SEA QB.  SEA offense is not good.  But they can attack AZ weakest parts and have what it takes to do the.  So can AZ with Minshew put enough points on the board?

    confused

    @Raiders22

     100% at 7 I lay it with Seattle. Here’s a hot take…what if the offense is better with Lock?! I’m not saying I believe that. I’ve watched enough Drew lock in my life.

    Let’s not forget how AZ won last week. First of all I’ll just say Dallas Cowboys and I’ll leave it at that. But secondly, Tyler Allgeier 11 carries 147 yards an_roll_laugh

    I’ll give Minshew some credit but let’s not pretend that AZ just benched Brissett for a good qb. I don’t think I’ll have any action on this game but I definitely think you got a great number. And there’s no way this line goes to 7. If it does I’ll come back and call myself a fool.

    Actually I will have a bet on this game almost certainly. Minshew o0.5 interceptions. peace_5

     Oh I think Locke will be better because Darnold has been bad.

    But it is a tad different when a backup comes in the game as opposed to prepping for the start all week.

    Because the opposing team will also now be prepping for that backup QB.

    But Locke is different because he is pretty decent and folks forget there was a push for him not too long ago to be the starter.

    In week 2, Lock prepared as a starter vs the Arizona Cardinals.

    I think the Seahawks o line gets things going in this game.

    @Raiders22

     Care to share your reasons for backing Atlanta?

    It's the hardest game on the board for me to understand.

    I'm passing either way since it's in Madrid. I've stayed away from all international games so far.

    Good Luck on the plays clover

    Yes, I am skeptical of those and like to skip them as well.

    But it basically boils down to closer to a pick'em to me.

    ATL has a strong running game and CIN does a poor job of stopping it.

    ATL has a good defense and CIN still cannot run the ball so ATL can key in a tad bit on the pass.

    CIN has a good pass rush but a horrible pass defense.  For example 4th in press% but 91 rating allowed.  Then CIN against the run allows 4.8 y/an and 29th in PS/Play at .283.  ATL should be able to pick some spots to take advantage of that.

    On the other side ATL is balanced on defense.  6th in PS/Play against run.  8th in press%.  91 reg allowed.

    Penix 91 rtg. But he has struggled under pressure at 36 rtg.

    But I think after last week's debacle ATL will tighten one things up.

    So, I do not think CIN cannot start out slow in this game.

    So, I think at +3 there is a 75% I keep it; if it ever gets to +3.5 I almost certainly keep it.
