Ya, that's the side I want to be on...Kyle Orton with a bad D... 

Hey, he does have a chance though... maybe a 15% chance to cover...

We will see as this will be the best D and O they have faced... and for Dallas, this will be the worst O and D they have faced...

Who has Dallas faced.. Carolina and Tampa Bay. 2 worst teams in the NFL and had trouble with Carolina
@home on MNF and scored 14 pts

Talent.. Kyle Orton doesnt have to be good. I think this defense is the real deal. I gotta moneyline the Broncos this week.

If you think Dallas has a good Defense. I hope youre not puttin money on any of these games.

Wizer, people are gonna lose alot of money before they jump on this train. I will take the team with 16 pts given up through three games.

No Orton wont light them up.  why did I say that he would?...All Orton has to do is just hand the ball off and have his backs run it down the Cowboys throat. The play action pass will take care of the pass defense...get it

 


No way in hell the Broncos are going to run the ball down the Cowboys throat. Moreno isn't anything special, and the Cowboys will be prepared to stop the run. Whether it is a play-action, or a 3rd and long pass, Orton will be under pressure and shitting his pants the entire game. 

The Cowboys will def. be able to put points up on the board. A Kyle Orton-led offense won't be able to keep up.

Um who else has Dallas played?  They also played the best team in the NFL at lost on a last second FG...and that's after ROMO turned the ball over a dozen times...

A little hint, the Broncos D is not the Giants D..

Yes, and 33 of those 48 points were against Dallas...  Dallas will be puting up a lot of points and Mr. Orton will not be able to keep up...

However, like I always say, that's why they play the games...

I am a cowboy fan also I am trying to avoid this game as I agree with the people that feel it is a trap.

Irubad, as you probably know, the idea behind a spread is to attempt to split public opinion right down the middle.  As you can see from all of the above posts, about half this forum likes Dallas -3 and and half like Denver +3, so the 3 points was enough to do the job.

I happen to be with you... I think Dallas has much more talent and is the better team.  To me, the play is either Dallas -3 or no play at all.

this is a tough game to cap...

Denver has looked damn good on defense and is 3-0, but how good are they given their weak opponents?

Dallas has all the talent in the world, but has looked underwhelming and inconsistent, at best, through 3 weeks of the season.

At the moment, I lean to the defensive homedog playing the team on a short week, on the road, and in the milehigh air that the Broncos are far more accustomed to than the Cowboys.

For me, this game comes down to MBiii.  Totally serious.  If he doesn't play and their only healthy RB is Choice, even though he is good, I will be on Denver.  If MBiii practices late in the week and looks like mostly all-systems go in a RBBC with Choice backing him up 10-15 touches, then I might be on Dallas to cover.

As I said tho, lean to the homedog vs the team on a short week and on the road.

Since when is NYG the best team in the NFL? Oh forgive me they're the only team in the NFL thats 3-0...

 The Broncos D is not the Giants D. Thats because the Giants D is currently ranked last in the NFL in Defensive YPC at 6.1. The best team in the NFL...yeah right

Line isn't a trap.  Broncos are 3-0, at home, and have the better defense statistically.  Cowboys are 2-1 and on the road and have the better offense and QB.  3 points on the road seems about right to me given that Orton is playing Qb for Denver.  If not, game should be around pick em.  I always hear about dallas being this big public team but i think that is eroding as there are about as many people who hate them as love them.  Going by the covers numbers, carolina was actually the "public" play last night.  Either way, Cowboys win this by 7+.  Just look at the last time the Cowboys went on the road and faced Orton.  The guy is a fuckn joke and will  turn it over this weekend.  If the public is on this play so be it, they cash, just like they did with the giants, packers and bears this weekend.
