Poor bastards.
I am puzzled by the lack of support for Sanders??? Did it all evaporate? The Browns fandom gave him a rousing welcome onto the field and hopes were high and then
.
Are the criticisms valid that Sanders should have been given first team reps? Would it have made a difference in his performance? Going forward will it make a difference in his performance now?
I guess we will find out soon enough. A lot of his supporters are saying he has been setup to fail by being thrown into the deep end of the pool. Do you believe that?
On Twitter/X supporters are claiming that Sander is the victim of racist Whites including Stefanski who are consciously canceling his career. ![]()

Maybe he thinking two INTs by Sanders on their side of field and Raiders get two FGs for a 6-0 final

I've seen them play at home, and then I've seen them play on the road.
Jeckyll & Hyde I believe are their names.
Plus, the last team that you want to back otr, in Las Vegas of all places, is a 2-8 team coming off a valiant effort vs a divisional team.
My 2 cents

Aside from the fact that they don’t have an offensive line! Geno sucks, he has no pocket awareness when he gets one, he throws into crowds, he doesn’t pick up the blitz, he looks 10 years older then 2 years ago. For th time being get use to it because Gino and Kenny Pickett is a nasty QB room.

@joe pockets
I agree.
But the Browns QB room isn't exactly much better either. One could argue that it's worse. I think that these idiots are still paying DeSean Watson and Joe Flacco

@SPark1
Interesting. I had no play in the DAL game.
I am not sure I would even call Sanders 3rd string. Flacco is just experienced. He should be a backup at this point. He was not exactly setting the place on fire.
Gabriel is terrible. Even though he had looked a bit steadier.
So, Sanders is just their QB at this point. I am not sure he is a big drop-off because none of the others are great. Watson is, sadly, their best option.
As was talked about in the other thread the CLV defense is not the same on the road. But it is mainly in their Pass Defense. Their Pass Rush and Rush Defense are still very elite.
The question seems to be will Geno be able to take advantage of that. Will he bounce back somewhat and get rid of the ball quickly and cleanly. Will their line hold off the pressure enough to give him that time. Will their WRs run clean routes out completely enough to take advantage of the only 'weakness' in that defense. Will they establish any semblance of a running game to keep them off balance.
I am not sure either team can be backed here. I think the only play was on the UNDER 37. So, I out a bit on that early when it came out. It is now down to 36. So I see no value of adding to it.
But if any QB has the 'potential' to have a decent game it has to be the more experienced QB at home. He has seen NFL defenses for years at least and plenty of good ones. He just saw DEN, KC and JAX.
Then you do have to at least consider that Carroll is experienced and has some pride and will want to have a decent showing at home. Is Stefanski like 14-29 on the road. Is he on the hot seat. At some point the awful QB decisions and their play has to be on him.
That is a large reason why that line has been bet up from 3.5 to 4 at market making books. At retail books you could have gotten 2.5/3 even.
That is because the pros keep betting it back up when it comes down to 3.5
One old age that does not apply because the teams are both bad and have the same record, but still is worth looking at:
"when a road team with fewer wins does not receive at least three points, they have a record of 306-244-24 against the spread (ATS)."
There is a very good reason they are getting at LEAST 3 points. ![]()
It may not play out like the oddsmakers and pros think. Who knows what you get with two awful teams.
They still have to play the game. ![]()
