This season my Top Plays are 31-8, as I stated Monday my initial leans were balty and SF, but nothing was locked. I had a chance to cap these games and these are my official picks.
10* ATLANTA +4.5 over SF(TOP PLAY)
3* ATLANTA ML +180
1* ATLANTA/SF UNDER 49
10* NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS-8.5 over BALTIMORE(TOP PLAY)
1* Over 51 SF/BAL
When capping this game between the Falcons and 49ers the one area that don't sit well with me is that the 49ers are giving up 28pts a game on the road in there last 4 road games. Besides giving a team(Falcons) who are 34-6 in the dome under SMITH/RYAN getting 4-4.5 pts is ridiculous. I also saw that every time they play a game like last week when they have scored 40+ points, they don't seem consistent the following week, They are 0-2 after scoring 40+ points, they lost to the Giants and Seattle. The 9ers are 1-6 as an away favorite vs a team with a S/U win. Atlanta is 10-1 S/U and 9-2 ATS against non Divisional opponents in December and January, something to think about for other Falcon backers. I think us cappers think to much from week to week performances. Even thou I took the 9ers last week I was concerned about Kaepernick being a rookie in a playoff game, granted after that interception he played flawless football. He is still a rookie this week, but hes in a bigger game on the road. I also think being an underdog at home takes the pressure off of Atlanta, so my PICK is the points and ATLANTA and i like them to win outright advancing to the Superbowl. I see a score of 23-20 ATLANTA
My New England Patriots are going to win this game, Yes I am a Homer, but if you all have seen my threads the past weeks I have gone against them at times, but Sunday they beat Baltimore by more than 8.5 points. How much energy does the Ravens have playing 2 emotional games now, can Flacco put together another good game like he was against Denver. We know what the Patriots can do, they play solid defense especially on the run and that offense is the best in the league with future HOF Quarterback Tom Brady at the controls. Everyone says what if Cundif its that field goal last year maybe the ravens win, well I think the Pats have motivation also to convincingly beat this team, because once the Pats are up that foot stays on the pedal. They will not miss a beat with GRONK out, they didn't all year and especially last week. Baltimore is even lucky there in this position, I still am scratching my head because I can't believe Denver gave up that late TD with there prevent Defense on the field, the whole coaching staff should be fired IMO. Pats will win by more than 8.5...I see 38-24 type game.
