Too easy for the Cowboys...Giants have absolutely no O-line or D-line whatsoever. Cowboys OL will manhandle them and Demarco will have another field day

Giants also have absolutely no offensive weapons with the exception of Beckham Jr (maybe)

This is a prime spot for a Cowboy let down and Giants bounce back.  Opened at Cowboy -5.  Wait for the Cowboy money to steam it past 7.

If what you write is true and the Giants are garbage, why are the Cowboys only -5 at home??? Don't you see anything amiss with that line? Dallas just beat the world champs right in Seattle?

This line is right.  They open it at -6 or higher and the sharps pound the Giants driving the line down for the public.  This would be a bad scenario for the house.

Public is thinking is just what you are thinking.  They just beat the Seahawks in their house and the Giants just got smoked, -5 is the play.  The house will gladly take your money at -5.  Cowboys win, but it will be close and Dan Bailey saves the day.

    Cowboys 24-21.

Yes Sir, this is how you handicap, its all about Public perception. If you follow the masses of fools, then you are doomed, Giants get the cover, quite possibly a straight up win.

Classic let down spot for any team much less dallas but idk something is different about this team this year idk if they will over look this game. It's their first division game of the year and they need to win to keep pace with philly eek is also 5-1 but they have 2 division wins already so this is a pretty important game for dallas

The public won many bets in Week 6 such as Denver -8.5 and Indy -3 and the sharps lost many bets in Week 6 like taking the TB Bucs and the Buffalo Bills.

According to vegasinsider, the wiseguys poured money on Sunday morning onto 8 teams, causing line movement.  The wiseguys went the right way in 2 games and wrong way in 6 games.

So automatically fading the public is no smarter than automatically going with the public.

The improved Dallas will likely beat the bad version of Eli we saw last night like he was a rented mule.  Perhaps sack him 8 times.  NYG is currently garbage on the road against a solid team (Deadskins are not solid).

It's not an automatic fade, I still think the Giants are better than the Cowboys... Cowboys beat the defending champs and all of a sudden they're super bowl bound? Give me a break, lets look at the teams they have beaten outside of Seattle.

    Titans    2-4
    Rams    1-3
    Saints    2-3
    Texans  3-3

I'm not buying the hype, Giants keep this game close and have an excellent chance to win outright

Public is thinking is just what you are thinking.  They just beat the Seahawks in their house and the Giants just got smoked, -5 is the play.  The house will gladly take your money at -5.  Cowboys win, but it will be close and Dan Bailey saves the day.

    Cowboys 24-21.

I was asking the poster what he thought as I was trying to broaden his perspective. I see what you think and we see eye to eye on the game.

However, I see the books making that line -5 instead of -6 or -7 because they want to troll for Dallas money and at -5 they are getting loads of it. The public may bet the game up to -7 by game time.

I sense a Giants cover and possible upset in this spot.

I normally would agree, but cruz being out is just too much mentally to the team and skillwise

I have to run the YPP (Yards Per Point) stats tonight for both teams.  If those numbers look good and couple that with the situation we've been discussing in the thread, it looks promising for a Giants cover.  The last thing I want to look for are some trends supporting our lean.

Cowboys will not overlook any teams this year. Coach Jason G's philosophy is to take everything PLAY BY PLAY. He has been drilling that into their minds ever since he took over. They are finally starting to do that, and the team is clicking.

I'm not sure if yall watched the Cowboys-Seahawks game..but they outplayed and outmuscled them in every part of the game. People talking about how Seahawks had bad play-calling, an off-day, bad officiating etc etc...but the fact of the matter is Cowboys D took care of Lynch and Harvin. Also contained Wilson. They had a great blueprint to beat a great team in a harsh environment. Giants won't be much of a challenge

I definitely know what people mean when they say it's the "classic spot for a meltdown" especially knowing Cowboys recent history, but I do believe that this really is a different team. It all starts with that O-line
