Favre has a new OC (or passing coach, someone new) and a better line.  He is a better QB this year, not throwing the bomb every time.  I look for him to do well again.

#1-I dont like Favre


 


#2-the game has passed him by


 


#3-He has played NOBODY this year...the Patriots would shut those people down completely!


 


#4-if they make the playoffs it will ONLY be because of the cupcake schedule as the NFC is a joke and they will not get past the first round


 


#5-we'll have to listen to person Favre talk about if he's going to retire or not after they dont make playoffs or get their ass kicked in 1st rd!

First off i have to give Favre and the Packers credit for a -4-0 start and playing well. They should have lost against Philly in week 1 though. 


 


I do agree that Favre is on the downfall. if anyone thinks he is gonna keep this pace up you are crazy. He didnt learn over the summer NOT to force passes into tight coverage, or How to be smart with the ball. No one has ever questioned his arm or ability, but it has always been his decision making that hurt him.


The Packers will likely finish the year 10-6, make the playoffs in the weak NFC and lose in the 1st round. Still a hell of an accomplishment for this weak team.


 


Finally, Favre is NOT the best QB ever and in my books isnt in the top 5. Marino is the best pure passer ever and if he had a running game EVER in his career he'd have a handful of Superbowl rings right now. Montana is also much better than Favre. Favre has always been a 3TD and 2 INT QB. And for every time he stormed his team back for a win he also blew a game with a bad decision with the ball.


 


Yes i dont like Favre, But Yes i do respect him. I cant argue with you there philly fan. Top 10 i can accept, but all this talk about top QB ever because he beat marinos record is a joke. Favre is like the Lenny Wilkins of the NFL. Set the NFL TD record but likely will set the NFL INT record as well. ahhaahaha.

#2  Yes, as clearly evident in their past 9 games

#3  Wow, this one wins it for you:  "the Patriots would shut those people down completely!"  ummm, the Patriots would shut down any team in the NFL right now the way their playing.  How can I argue against genius like that?

# 4  Already making excuses to cover all your bases because you finally realize that the Pack is a good team and that Favre is still a top 5 QB in the league.

# 5   Yes, we know, you would rather them talk about Micheal Vick and Lance Briggs.   Just like simpleminded individuals like you would rather hear the latest on Britiny Spears or Lindsey Lohan then the War in Iraq or the upcoming Presidential Elections.
