Ha. Brady and his cohorts come to Philadelphia and will get cheesed.

New England are an overated bunch which the NFL looks after. I tell you, they got lucky against the Jets thx to that dumb TO call by Sanchez with time left in the 2nd Qtr to allow Brady to drive the ball down the field.

Now, when there is no pressure on you (ie Brady) and he can simply just throw the ball, the game becomes easier. Jets defense was really tired in that game too and it cost them the TD as well as the Game. New England won on that late 2nd Qtr TD alone as that was what played on Sanchez's mind for the rest of the game (the mental loser).

Against Chiefs, New England were in trouble only for some soft calls by the Refs to rob the Chiefs some huge gains. New England had a flattering blow out win thanks to a couple of lucky interceptions where the ball was tipped.

Eagles in a must win and New England in a doesn't really matter Game.

Eagles have worked on their Defense and are closing the middle portion of the field as they did against Giants thus negating their rushing in that game.

I say Eagles will show who's boss come Sunday evening. Brady will have his head ripped off.

I am not a Brady hater. I just simply want to see him lose and have Belichick's heart ripped out seeing his AFC Division hopes go down the dump as Belichick is a moron and can't coach if he didn't have Brady. Look at what was achieved the year Brady went down LOL

Fair is fair and New England ain't all that and are not even a chance to win Super Bowl XLVI.

Over to you now New England fans.....

BOL sir, the eagles got the first game out of the way. Now is where the pressure falls on them. With the cowboys winning and that first win in the eagles pocket all the pressure is on them, can they continue to handle the pressure? The eagles gave 110% effort last game knowing it was do or die with Vick out, can they match that energy? Your analysis is incorrect by saying the patriots are overrated for beating the Jets by 20+ and the Chiefs by 30+. In reality, the Patriots offense wasn't even clicking, the only thing that was working was Brady to his tightends in both games and yet they still won both games beyond comfortably. Imagine if they get there offense rolling? Im staying away from this game but it looks like you've missed a few things on your analysis. BOL

New England are overated and their wins are against badly underperforming and undermanned teams.

Without Wes Welker - New England are a simple 3 and OUT team.

So SORRY if I am stating whats obvious to me.

Not a chance in hell! NE -6.5 - big play - Tom Brady doesn't care if Eagles are in a must win position so he'll have no mercy. And without Wes Welker 3 and out? Man, you obviously haven't watched the Patriots carefully or don't know what you're talking about - Gronkowski and Hernandez??? Man, come on, don't talk shit only because you're a Brady hater. Don't lead people on - New England will win this by a long way.

yes but NFL cares if eagles is in a must win situation. New England is a good team, probably the best imo, but its more then that in this sport.

Philly moneyline will most likely be my play for this weekend. Also belive in Denver and Tebow (:

When I capped it earlier this week, my initial guess at the score was 28-24 Eagles, assuming that vegas would come out with a line like Eagles -4, over/under 46.  Wasnt really that far off on the o/u, but wasnt close on the spread.  I love the home dog play here (and i'm a pats fan).

It will be interesting to see if shady is able to run wild...I would guess that BB concentrates on taking him away and forcing VY to chuck the ball.  Looked at it in this way, it becomes easier to understand why the iggles are the dog here, but I still like Cole and company to get 3-4 sacks and make Tom Terrific pretty miserable in Philly.

    Revised guess: 24-20 Iggles.

This isn't one of my picks but Brady should torch the eagles secondary since the over hyped 60 million dollar man nnamdi asomugha is out with a hyper extended knee.

If Vick plays, then the over might be played, if not - strongly on NE hc, maybe -6.5, maybe -9.5, there is no way Philly wins this game with or without Vick, just with him they might score some points, with this guy - Alex Young - not bad at all last week, but 17 points? They played the funny Giants, the worst football team in the history of football - that cocksucker Eli? If he wasn't Payton's brother he would be trowing fishes at the dolphins in some cheap aquarium - this guy is a freakin' joke. That's why that victory means nothing, anyone can beat the Giants. vs the Patriots, you need to outscore them - score more than 25-27 points, which in this case for Philly would be impossible - Patriots all the way, heavy bet on -6.5 for me.

i agree with this one, too... Eagles are a better team than the Patriots... not even debatable!

been watching the NFL for 30+ years now... there was a stretch where the NFC dominated Super Bowls for quite awhile... but there has never been a season (in the 30 years i've been watching), in which the NFC was THIS MUCH BETTER than the AFC, as a whole...

the difference between the two conferences right now is MONSTROUS!

the Patriots are the paper tiger of all paper tigers... probably the worst 7-3 football team you are ever going to see in your life...

actually, there is not a chance in hell the Patriots are covering, and probably not a chance in hell they will win this game... you're team is about to get their asses kicked!

WhiteSnake... why would you say there is "no way" Philly wins this game?  this game is in Philly... this is the NFL... and the Patriots are a mediocre football team...

how does any of that add up to a guaranteed win for the Pats???

What the hell are you smoking?Oh ya you also said Detroit was the 4h best team in the NFL. I  don't think you know what you're talking about.

Yeah man, switch the provider, he's been selling you rat poison for blow...Just don't be sooooo stupid thinking Philly is a better team than NE, that's just absurd. And they don't have a shot winning this game, not a chance in hell! Take Brady at -3 if you want to play it safe, but I told you, I already pounded the -6.5 on NE, I won't say with how much, cause Spooker doesn't like it when I say what money I bet, but let's say it's big enough bet, not huge, but big. So NE -6.5 - a gift!

and when i say you are wrong, i'm not meaning it in some kind of "we'll never know" way... we will know...

go try to find a line on the Super Bowl... and let me tell you, when they post early lines, they don't post it ASSUMING that a certain team (i.e. Packers) are going to make it there... they play it safe...

i bet you can't find a line under (-4) on the Super Bowl... and i'll tell you right now, NFC (-4) is a fucking gift, if it's out there!

Ice4Blood, I never bet NE just because I am a fan, I bet them because I see value. NE have one of the best offenses in the NFL, maybe only the Packers are better this year. They have Wes Welker, Dejon Branch and the 2 of the best TE in the league, Tom Brady has all the time in the world to throw a ball, even vs great defensive teams like Jets and Pittsburgh. Yes, he had some rough games this year, the Steelers killed him and his line and the Bills beating NE>??? What was that? But whatever the statistics, the only factor that Philly prevails NE is the rushing backs - McCoy has been insane this year. But Vick hasn't, he lost a few games that he should've won by a long way (49ers, Cardinals, 1st game vs the Giants) so that's not Vick's season - way too many mistakes, very bad protection (the most hits in the NFL taken by a QB - Michael Vick)...So that can tell you thing or 2 for Philly, and yet the only chance for them to have a shot at this game is if Vick plays. The Young fellow - no experience for such a crucial game, won last week simply because Eli is as good of a QB as I am...So again, not as a fan, as a value player - Patriots -6.5. I won't write here anymore, but when the Pats kill the Eagles I will come back and tell you I told you so...And for the Superbowl - many games till then, we have seen miracles performed in the post season, so don't be so sure that the Packers will be at the Superbowl...We saw what happened to New Orleans last year...So don't get ahead of yourself, let's talk week by week...

Whitesnake or Tom Brady - you listen up....

Vince Young or even that kid Alex Young will not have any problems against Patriots defense. He will do the same. Philadelphia have alot of scoring power and they destroyed the Giants in their backyard with running and passing the ball. That 9 minute drive in the 4th Qtr was as good as any. If Eagles bring this on SUnday, NE won't be winning as I bet you they will be trying to keep Brady off the field for as long as they need.

DeSean Jackson will light up and destroy the Pats secondary. You watch.

The Eagles are a real threat in the NFC East and I have money on Dallas winning the Division at +300. So I respect the Eagles team and will look at hedging with them rather than the Giants.

They played really well losing to the Bears and on that nite would have beat anybody except the fact the Bears Defense came up big against Vick. Eagles are damn good.

They have led alot of Games into the 4th Qtr only to lose. They addressed this last week and will show the NFL they are still around when they go out and smack Brady in the mouth this evening.
