I think #18 has paid his dues to be on and stay on this list...while Brees has certainly emerged to join this list. The question now is: Will he be a mainstay with Tom and Peyton or is he going to be a "one hit wonder" and fall off? Personally, I think he'll stay up there, but, I can't put him ahead of either of the "mainstays" at this point. #18 has done nothing in my mind to force anybody to move him out of the top 2 spots.

Roethlisberger is the most overrated QB in the league...maybe even the most overrated in the past 20 years.
He holds the ball way too long, takes way too many sacks and puts his team in very tough spots. He's never led the Steelers to be a "juggernaut" offense, they've always relied on their defense to win games.
Think of it like this...if you put Brady, P. Manning, Brees, and probably even guys like Rodgers, Rivers, Warner, Romo, etc. on that same exact team and they would win games easily, instead of pulling out 3 point 4th quarter victories on a consistent basis.
His TEAM won 2 Super Bowls...good for them, good for him. That's the most overrated statistic in sports with a QB. Judging QB's based on whether they HAVE or HAVE NOT won a Super Bowl or Super Bowls is simply ignorant.

I completely agree with what your saying, but the reason Roethlisberger takes so many sacks is because their o-line is garbage. There is no one in the league that can keep a play alive like Roethlisberger and i hate the Steelers but i give credit, where its due.

That might be the case, BUT, I also think a QB like P. Manning or Brees will get rid of that ball most of the time and not take that sack. It's basically "pocket presence" which Ben does not have much of. His does make his way out of some sacks, but, still takes far too many when other QB's will get rid of the ball more times than not.

Big Ben and Eli are solid. Brees is the man right now and will lead the league in just about every meaningful stat this year.
Marino and Montana best of all time, Marino threw too good for his receivers but Joe won the champs b/c of great coaching and good D... Tony 'regular season' Romo is best without doubt until Dec 1.. In my fantasy league he was available on 11th pick, I had to grab him (QB heavy point league) and will trade him after week 9...

In the 4th quarter down by a touch, I'd rather have Big Ben, than anybody on your list.. Brady is great b/c of the whole team and coaching, but so was Cassel. It took Peyton what 9 years to win it all? She-Li turned into He-Li much quicker, and will win another. I think it's teh Chargers year, but Brees will prove otherwise. With Darren Sharper in the secondary, they are team to beat.. They host the Jets and GMEN in weeks 4 + 6 with a bye in between.. Whoever wins that game, goes to Superbowl...

do you mean addai and rhodes leading indy back in the second half? great game plan by the indy coaches for the second half. keep running like its a scorless game. run as much as possible so the turnover machine manning doesnt throw another pick. Brady had what 1 min in the Superbowl but couldn't do shit but repeatedly getting his ass put to the ground. Brady got lucky with the tuck rule. And finally throwing a pick in the afc championship or wait in your words "trying to make a play because he had to" gotcha buddy!
