i have noticed you around here and while i think you are a relativley new bettor you may not be and you already may know what i am about to say but in case you don't i will pass this along, they don't all hit but the majority of them do, long term you will be ahead doing this but as someone who has been following this for a long time i will tell you that the last 4 weeks or so this system/ trend has been on fire but it isn't always this good, Vegas is like the rest of us they get on streaks where they hit a bunch in a row but they also have streaks where they don't do as well, the difference is there bad streaks don't last as long as the normal bettor
Yeah you are right... I have been smart enough to lay off when I feel like there are other factors involved, but I can tell you that I have gotten rich with this reverse line movement reading that I have been doing recently. I will ride it as long as I can. When Vegas is just begging for more money on a side I have to fade the public.
And I am relatively new to the football forum, but have been betting baseball for years. I am starting to get more involved with both NFL and NCAAF this year.

I TOTALLY believe that some games are fixed....but this ass-clown acts like EVERY game is fixed.....C'mon......
I personally think the DAL/BUFF game was fixed....I was on BUFF +11.....but the league wanted DALLAS to win that game to boost the ratings for today's game vs NE...2 UNDEFEATED teams going head to head.
I totally agree with everything except that Buffalo was fixed so Dallas would win...how can you fix a rookie kicker to hit basically two ridiculous field goals...it was fixed they were putting a lot on that rookie kicker...

Hey Illum, I know where you are coming from. When I first started betting sports about 12 yrs ago it seemed like I was always on the wrong side of some crazy stuff. I would cry fix or damn refs but after a couple of years and several thousand dollars I finally got it. It started when I would see a game and think there is no way that could lose and bet against it. A funny thing happened, I started to win. In pro football these guys are all good, and anything can and will happen on any given day. Home teams have a huge edge and home dogs are even better. Not hating on you cause I wouldnt kick a man why he was down, but my advice to you is to start fading yourself pick a couple games each sunday that you think you cant lose and bet against them. Maybe something funny will happen to you. As far as games being fixed you wont care if you are on the right side. later

Agreed......but the refs gave Dallas a little help getting back into the game. They were getting drummed at half. Romo had 5 picks and a fumble.

The man speaks the truth. Conspiracy theories are a loser's rationalization for why things didn't work out in their favor. My advice would be to stop capping and tail some winners on this site. Quitting is the best idea but would be impossible for me!

have to totally disagree. If you ever want to argue the refs are in for the fix, then you could have an argument, but do you realize how many players would have to be in on a "fix"? Do you realize how much these guys make, that its virtually impossible to buy out THAT many players? If it was college, id say maybe ...but these guys get paid too much to have that happen.
Its the NFL..NO was supposed to be good, maybe they are having a game where they click.
First of all, I don't subscribe to this conspiracy theory either, but this is one of the biggest misconceptions that nay-sayers use. Not all players in the NFL are paid handsomely. The minimum salary is just $285k. Only the elite make millions per year. And NFL contracts are not guaranteed, meaning they can be cut anytime for any reason and not get paid.
Sure, it's a pretty safe bet that Peyton and Brady won't fix games because they have too much to lose. But what's to stop a scrub from taking the bribe? I mean you're a 3rd stringer making $285k and not even sure you'll be back the next season and someone offers you $5M (equal to 17.5 year salary) to throw the Super Bowl. Wouldn't you be tempted?
And it's also a misconception that the fix requires many players..... how many times have you seen a TD nullified by a holding or block in the back penalty. That's all is required sometimes to determine the outcome, a well timed penalty.
Not saying any unsavory stuff is going on, but it's not as far-fetched as many people seem to believe.

Everygame I lose is fixed. How does vegas do it?/?????
LOL
That is what I used to think when I first started betting! The problem is when you have money on a game you notice EVERYTHING in a much greater magnitude and start to question things. Of course it seems fixed but the bottom line is that sometimes things happen that can't be explained or rationalized!
There is NO WAY the NFL could be fixed! Way too many people involved. Look at that NBA ref and how just having one person involved can blow up!
SORRY you lost your bet on the Seahawks - I am a pretty good capper and I took them first half -3 and couldn't believe it when the Saints were up 21-0. Sometimes things just happen - teams don't come ready to play, others step up. This was one of those times!
Better luck next time...

Just keep dismissing it, that is all any of you can do. You live in a cocoon where people are good and politicians are honest and for someone to reveal something that breaks your cocoon dream world just scares the shit out of you. Therefore, you get really defensive and start the name-calling and bullshit like that to protect your ideals. You have been ignorant your whole life and I wish I was still ignorant like you because then I would also be in eternal mindless bliss. Unfortunately I opened my eyes and actually can see that things are not actually how they seem.
The Saints had underperformed all season and were due for a win. What the hell made you think that a team that got shut out the prior week would be a solid bet? You are just a poor capper who probably thinks our own Government brought down the Twin Towers. Every must be blind if they don't see what I see. The rantings of a true narcissist. .

Lots of shady bullshit going on again today with games. I am getting sick & tired of this crooked college bullshit. Like the rest of you, I do not want to believe that any type of sports are fixed but in college football and NFL it is so blatant that it cannot be overlooked.
Lost on Wisconsin in one of the worst examples of referee crookedness I have ever seen. That put me down 0-2.
I just thought everyone should take another look at this. There is a clear trend of douchebaggery going on here with this Illuminato. How much would you like to bet he doesn't whine when he is on the winning side of his so-called fixes? He is very typical of a lot of people in these forums, not man enough to face up to their own piss-poor capping. I know I would have like to be the one taking my bets on Saturday, I was throwing money away.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to fix a game that involves more than 75 players. (Both offenses, defenses and special teams players from each team). Plus the fact that not one player who has ever left the game has ever blown the whistle by writing a tell all book. Now if Jose Canseco ever played professional football I'm sure he would have come up with such a book.

Have you ever seen a REF make an absolutely ridiculous call? Phantom holding after a big play...late flags...etc...... Refs CONTROL games......don't be so naive.

Can I ask you just one question? Why would Seattle want to lose a game on purpose? Your claiming that Seattle, and the refs were all in on this fix? You think Seattle got the refs all together and said, listen, we'll pay you to blow the game for us, cuz we're so bad we cant even blow a game by ourselves.
YOU ARE A DUMBSHIT! Players, owners, coaches, WHOEVER, make enough money, to know its not worth it to them to throw a game. They already have money so they dont need it, but Seattle doesnt have a Superbowl ring. I really doubt they would just give a game to another team when they would just be in turn, giving themselves a worse shot to make the playoffs.
