Jimmy Clausen will be the first QB taken.  I don't think that Locker will be taken until after Clausen, Bradford and perhaps the Arkansas QB or maybe even Colt McCoy.  BOL!

Locker won't be taken because he is staying, also heard Mallett is staying as well.  Bradford is 2nd.  3rd is a toss up, still think someone takes a chance on Tebow.

Besides playing in the pro style, what are other factors that would lead to the assumption that Clausen is the class of this draft?

They dumb is they pass on Suh.
Suh should go 1st and Rams can get Colt McCoy with the 2nd Round...

Colt McCoy shouldn't go until the 4th or 5th round.

Tebow will go to the Dolphins, not as an everyday QB but rather as a slash type player who will help with gadget type plays since he has QB experiance. That's my guess and I'm sticking with it. As for QB's I am a firm believer in drafting a QB that fits a teams system, like RottenBurger in Pittsburgh. I told my friends that the Steelers would draft him while he was still playing in college. Too many teams think they can change a QB and make him fit something he can't that's why there are so many bust at QB. You need a lot of things to have a successful NFL QB, like coaching stability, team system, veteran QB on team to help teach, ownership that cares about winning not just the money, etc,etc. The rookie QB has to be tough mentally as well and have either thick skin or the ability to let negative comments roll off him. I guess last but not least you need a stable organization with a solid GM who can either build around a QB or select the right QB for his team. Better yet, both.

Clausen has a good arm, accurate and has experience. Bradford does not have much experience at all. He only played 1 year and it was against some of the sorriest defenses around, with the exception of Texas. I can't find a reason to take Bradford over Clausen really. Bradford cannot take a hit w/out folding like a lawn chair. To me Clausen is the obvious choice as the top QB prospect. Bradford is borderline similar to Mike Williams of USC. Pretty much took a year off, good luck with that as a QB.

Clausen's ability to move in the pocket has developed so much over the past 2 years, he become unbelievable moving within the pocket.  You have to remember his toughness isn't matched by anyone, he obviously is a good leader, proves it because he was voted a captain.  I think he's got all the tools.
Toughness, guy did play with turf toe just about all season.  Is now having surgery to repair torn ligaments.  I think whoever drafts him is going to be a happy organization.  I think that he needs to put on just a little bit of weight, but definitely has the height.  I'm gonna say hes gonna be in the range of 6'2'.5-6'3" officially.  Combine is where he will shine, thats if he can even make it.  Saying this surgery is going to keep him sidelined for 2-3 months.

I would say its a toss up between clausen and Bradford.

Clausen has shown great leadership even though it was a tough
year for the Irish, the fact is that before bradford got hurt
he was in a class all by himself

I dont think the injury will stop him from being a great pro

I think Christian Ponder will be a better QB than Bradford, but now I'm not sure Ponder comes out.  But next years QB crops are gonna be damn good.

Accurate on short passes...maybe.  He was a product of a system in my opinion.  Just don't see it.  Maybe a few years to develop, but you have to remember any offensive system in the NFL is going to be very hard for him to pick up.  Oklahoma's offense isn't anything like a pro style offense.  He definitely has the size though.  Pro-typical QB size, I just have a feeling hes not going to be able to adapt and be very good honestly.  Just my opinion, he could develop but I don't see him seeing the field for a couple of years.

Bradford has the height, but he needs to put on some serious weight. He looks way too thin to take a consistent beating in the NFL. I think he is a project in the pros, he pretty much took a year off. He will be very rusty from the get go. Did he really win any big games while he was a starter? I'm pretty sure he lost to Texas and he also lost in the National Championship. I just can't see Bradford being a good pro, maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see him being worthy of a 1st rd selection let alone the 1st QB taken.
