SIGNIFICANT injury update...

Star RB Kenneth Walker, SEAHAWKS
Could miss time with oblique strain!

Walker suffered an "oblique strain that was legit" in Sunday's
17-16 loss to the Rams, coach Pete Carroll said after the game,
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Walker is in danger of missing additional game action
after exiting the Week 11 loss, especially with a short week
before Thursday's home game against the 49ers.

Named Week 12 (Friday) starter vs Dolphins!

Boyle replaced Zach Wilson in the second half of Sunday's 32-6 loss to the Bills, and though he completed just seven of 14 passes for 33 yards and one interception. Wilson, for his part, completed seven of 15 passes for 81 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Boyle started two games for Detroit back in 2021, and over the past two seasons he's appeared in a game each with the Lions and Bears. In those games, Boyle has thrown for an unimpressive 3 touchdowns compared to 9 interceptions, but Jets have an offense desperate for any kind of spark...

Cooper Cupp, WR Rams, likely to miss week 12...

Kupp suffered a right low-ankle sprain during Sunday's
17-16 win over the Seahawks

Kupp reportedly tried to re-enter Sunday's contest
after initially injuring his ankle, and the fact that he
didn't suffer a high-ankle sprain could mean he will
avoid a long-term recovery timetable.
The injury does make his chances of playing Week 12
versus the Cardinals murky at best.

Desmond Ridder, QB Falcons, Confirmed as starter

Head coach Arthur Smith confirmed Monday that
Ridder will reclaim starting quarterback duties Sunday
against the Saints, and the Falcons plan to stick with
the second-year signal-caller as their starter for the
rest of the season, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Smith's announcement doesn't come as a major surprise,
as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported over the
weekend that Ridder was set to move back into the
starting role after he had been benched in favor of
Taylor Heinicke (hamstring) for the two games leading
up to Atlanta's Week 11 bye.
Though Heinicke isn't expected to practice this week
while he continues to recover from a hamstring strain
he sustained Week 10, he lost both of his games as
starter and completed just 54.7 percent of his throws
for 6.1 yards per attempt in those outings.
As such, Heinicke's injury doesn't appear to be the
only reason that the Falcons are turning the starting
job back over to Ridder, who has fared better from
an efficiency standpoint than Heinicke over nine
appearances (65.4 percent completion rate, 7.1 YPA)
and presents a slight upgrade as a rushing threat
(150 yards, four touchdowns on 32 carries).
Turnovers (six interceptions, six lost fumbles)
have been the main bugaboo for Ridder.

Interesting stat on my own capping:

this season, with pre-game posted picks, ATS with a juice no worse than -120 (ie, no alt-lines with big juice, or moneylines) just the normal ATS bets that most people struggle with,

*We see a distinct pattern here. These teams are winning and at the top of the league.
IOW, without a top producing TE, most teams are floundering.

Chiefs will have their STAR tonight. EAGLES will not!
