And I thought the Turkey my girlfriend’s mom made last year had some great stuffing ! Wow ! Eagles D-line is blowing up the Miami running game . They’re living back there . Soon Fletcher Cox will be sitting in a LAZY Boy recliner eating a subway sandwich behind the line of scrimmage while he cuts his toe nails and makes long distance calls to various family members. Then I noticed I had my curtains still open and I made eye contact with my neighbor Cathy . I’m not sure she knew I was so rhythmic . Her face looked like an invisible man just farted in it . Added a couple more winners at MNF to give me 60 wins this season*

...after just 7 weeks! an_2drinks

25 - 15 so far in weeks 6 + 7   which is where I began my betting last year.

The parity in the league this year is more balanced that any I can recall, making for volatile capping results everywhere.

The Bad News Bears, behind some QB named Tyson Bagent (not Justin Fields!) ROUTS their superior opp!

Bills lose to arguably the WORST team in the league, and fall to just 4 - 3

Packers are slipping into the Abyss

TD fav Niners get beat fair & square by the luckless 2 - 4 Vikings, their second loss in 2 weeks.

Jets beat the EAGLES last week and the ugly NYG almost upended Buffalo on their own field!

Doesn't anybody ever stop to to review what calibre teams they faced to achieve those stats?? Surely I can't be the only one.

PPG and passing stats are almost TOTALLY MEANINGLESS when facing the "Weak Sisters of the Poor" all girls teams week after week, AT HOME!

Dolphins scored 4 of their 5 wins against THE 4 WORST teams in the NFL!
           NYG  -96 pt differential
           NE   -80 pt differential
           Car  -74 pt differential
           Den -71 pt differential
....and 3 of those 4 wins were easy home games in Miami!!
Their 5th win was to the mediocre Chargers...by only 2 pts!
Dolphins have faced the easiest SoS to date!!

Sunday night they face the EAGLES, who are rated almost on par with BILLS. And like that Bills game, this too is ON THE ROAD.

Likewise, EAGLES have not faced a tough sched by any stretch - but it is collectively significantly tougher than Miami faced and EAGLES have had the disadvantage of playing only 2 home games vs 4 ROAD games!

Miami enters with a +67 pt differential achieved vs the easiest sched in the NFL. 50 of that was achieved in one game against a very bad team.
3 of their most recent 4 games have been at HOME.
Miami coming off 2 successive wins - AT HOME - vs weaklings.

Philly enters with a harder fought +31 pt differential, against better quality teams and despite the disadvantage of playing 4 ROAD games!
3 of their most recent games have been on the ROAD.
Eagles coming off an embarrassing loss, albeit on the road.

 I also think Hurts has something he wants badly to prove in this showdown with the teammate who replaced him despite all his success in Bama...

an_lightWith their 3 HUGE INJURIES on their previously formidable defensive front 7 (possibly 4 now), I can't chance the Bills on the spread, even at home.......could go either way there......But I like them on a bounce back just to win SU against a team that is reeling from a game they were projected to win at home vs a beatable opp, and now they hit the road with a QB that has tweaked his knee....

As for the NINERS, I still see them as a the #1 team in the country, despite two recent losses. 

No team is immune from a missed fieldgoal to lose a game or otherwise off days resulting in upsets.  Even without Deebo Samuel (big loss though!) I expect they will win outright at home on Oct 29 vs. the improving but only slightly above average Bengals.  McCaffrey will be healthier and almost back to 100%.  Mitchell is a solid backfielder as well! Then Kittle, Aiyuk, and Jennings are still a strong force to be reckoned with along with an expected solid performance from Brock Purdy and a very good defense particularly at home.  I believe they don't lose 3 in-a-row, but rather, regroup and rebound for a good win in front of their home fans.....but the spread is large facing a capable Bengals team, and I wouldn't touch either side of it.....
