Yes I had the Jets ML anmd the points.....only thing I missed out on was the Jets team total, had them pegged at 24+....but on another note Sanchez is a JOKE.......That blinde squirrel actually found 2 nuts this post-season.....He sucks dude.  Don't like my reasoning?  Thats cool.  We will see how this game plays out Sunday  Couldn't imagine how good the Jets would be if they had a smart QB

I THINK IF YOUR GOING TO LAY THE JUICE BUYING DOWN GREEN BAY TO -2.5 WOULD BE A BETTER BET THEN BEARS+4.5...

One Observation: Almost all quarterbacks play less well after they've been hit hard several times in the pocket -- the main exception is Ben Roethlisberger, whom the Jets face next, who doesn't even seem to be aware he's being hit, much less care. Brady is a pretty-boy both on and off the field, and the sacks took a toll on him. Most were coverage sacks -- there was no one open -- but sacks all the same.

agree about jets beat steelers in pitts crap !

Steelers were mising troy p that game and others suffering injury

thats why jets won the game steelers just couldnt hold them off

they had the lead 17-10  they were winning the whole game

JETS pulled off a great play on 4th n goal a beautifully designed run fake steelers bought it and Sanchez ran left free and clear into end zone

SO steelers already know what JETS can do this time they have all players in passive defense will not work aginst steelers BIG Ben will rip em apart if they only rush 3

HE too big to bring down a damn monster 6-4  and what is weight  250 +  his pump fakes really are gold ! 

How many defense are taken off the WR's they are covering and Boom Ben hit's the wide open reciver for the play !

Plus steelers have TWO WR's that were QB's Hines Ward and Antwan

ooooo yeah plus steelers  have a strong ground game  the bowling ball Mendhall

JETS run game is gone vs Steelers D this forces Sanchez to make the plays now

THE colts were hurting all year defense full of holes  and no run game manning had worse year ever tossing pick after pick

then rex designed a new defensive scheme to shut down patriots

Bravo on that REX 

This time it's differnt YOUR facing a 6 time champion in thier home !

 

Also the toughest  field for kickers ! a 35 yarder turns into a 45 yarder the way those winds swirl !

Plus this is new grass field again not the fake stuff you have or that Pats have !

gets slippery and is slower !

thats why many teams fail when going from the carpet to the natural grass from one week to the next

I've been on the exact same side as you, even pointing out to a couple haters how "on the mark" you've been, but that's what they get for not listening.  I'm just having a little trouble w/ that Bears pick.  As sporadic as they were in the regular season (although successful), and I'm sure you're too good a capper to put a lot of stock into the Seahawk thumping.......Please help me understand that play a little.  for 2 reasons, 1. You are a damn good capper and 2. I hate being on the other side as you.

Looking good, Bruce! 

I lean with you on both games, although some x factors may keep me from betting.  One, I am a giant Bear fan, but in all honesty I like A-Rod and crew much better than my boring squad.  Two, I have made a lot of money with the Jets the last couple years and a bunch of my buddies are Jet fans and I really enjoy rooting them on with my crew. 

I might just be a spectator this week and root for the Jets even though I really think Pitt puts a hurting on them.  Also doesn't help that I snoozed on the line when it jumped to 3.5 on me.  Same with Bears.  They are my squad and I'll probably just root them as a homer, but honestly something deep deep inside me would almost rather root for my boy A-Rod.

Sanchez had the luxury of a top-notch D last couple years, are they top notch now ??  Is there any less pressure on Sanchez w/ a Defense that can not Dominate a game.

Fact of the matter Jersey973, bruce got the play right !!  The jets have feasted on two teams in the playoffs w/ no defenses, of course their offense is going to look good.  The colts and the pats are built to simply "outscore" opponents.  We agree the Jets have the formula to beat that type of team.  Now they go into Pittsburg against a formidable defense.  Hope they can switch gears, on the road.  Oh, don't forget the Steelers do have a solid offense as well.

The Jets have gained my respect this playoffs, but I still gotta fade em.  But I'm really counting on you Jersey973, I need ALL THE HOMERS like you to pound that hook of the Steelers this weekend.  I'm countin' on ya..

Im not a great capper......Ide say Im ok....and Im due for a loss....10-1 is a hard thing to follow up on and I got some good breaks along the way...I don't want to steer people in my direction.....I just like providing some insight and opinions.....Alot of times when someone is hot people begin to follow and thats when you lose.....then people get pissed.....The math always evens out......The goal is just to keep it above 55% assuming its always 10% juice....

The dude in my avatar was Bobby Fischer......I changed it to Sanchez because I lost a bet to Rangerz.....so I guess I started off the week 0-1 LOL

No, I am not putting much stock in that Seahawks thumping, no stock actually.......Bears Packers is a backyard brawl.  No matter what their records are its always close......I dont care if the Bears are 3-10.....The last 5 times they played the game was decided by 7 or less points.....Im not expecting that to change.....As for who wins this game I think its 50/50.......So I'll take my chances taking 4.5....grabbing the key numbers of 3 and 4.  Home underdog......In the elements......against the public (never blindly fade the public though, just use this as a + for the game).......and one of the most important factors is the field......this field sucks.....It will slow the game down to where the Bears like it....In fact expect the field to be watered before the game .....Maybe a little wind or snow???

Firstly, I will fully concede that Green Bay BARELY escaped Philly with a win, and were thoroughly outplayed in the second half. They played that 4th quarter "not-to-lose," and it showed. 

HOWEVER, to argue that Atlanta played "toe to toe" for 2 quarters and "shot themselves in the foot" is complete nonsensical garbage. 

The only reason it was 14-14 in the first place is because the Packers "shot themselves in the foot" by fumbling at midfield on their first drive, leading to a quick and easy 7-0 lead for Atlanta. They then made it 14-14 on a great special teams play, but a SPECIAL TEAMS PLAY nonetheless. GB went on a 35-0 run in this game. That is not called "Atlanta shooting themselves in the foot". It is called being DOMINATED at Home by a 6 seed clicking on all cylinders. 

Yes, that monsterous swing to end the 2nd quarter basically decided the game, and if Matty Ice gets in the end zone there, maybe the story is different. But the fact of the matter is, they DIDN'T. The fact of the matter is, Tramon Williams made TWO exceptional plays to give GB the lead at halftime. This is called outplaying your opponent. Yes, maybe if Ryan takes better care of the ball, the game ends differently. But you can say the same thing about any game ever played in the history of sports. Maybe Patrick Chung doesn't call a fake punt in the Patriots game, maybe the Jets never score with less than a minute to go in the first half, and maybe the Patriots march down the field to open the 2nd half and take a 10-7 lead. The whole game may have swung on that one Patrick Chung play, but to take anything away from the Jets for capitalizing and winning that game would be pure garbage. 

Fine, maybe Atlanta played "toe-to-toe" for 2 quarters. But guess what? They couldn't keep up with Rodgers or the Packers. They were out-coached, out-hustled, and out-played. And this was reflected on the scoreboard. To say that Atlanta "kept this game close for 2 quarters" is like saying "I finished last in the race, but it was tied at the checkpoint." Guess what? Nobody cares.
