AGREED.....that shit gets me all the time, after a few games I just give up deciding that even the oddsmakers can't figure these really really good teams out.
And the absolutely INEXPLICABLE part about it is that the Spurs aren't just kicking ass on this year's "rodeo road trip." They've established a record of excellence on this annual trip going back a full decade!! And every time they're about to embark on this trip, you hear endless talk about how well they do every season on this 8 or 9-game trip.......and STILL the oddsmakers FAIL to prevent Spurs backers from getting rich. My hands are up in the air at this point. I suck for trusting the oddsmakers to make proper lines on San Antonio's games, but the oddsmakers just flat out suck, period.

Duncan is not dominant any longer but yet the Spurs seem to be a dominant team ? Why is there no mention of Ginobili for MVP ? This mother fucker seems to never miss a three, is it just me ? And God do i wish Tony Parker played in the 80,s ! If i see this prick go in for another uncontested layup im going to throw up.. What do you see the spread vs the Bulls on Thursday opening at ? Kurt Thomas and the young 7 footer can play with Duncan and do some work on the boards.. I like the Bulls perimeter defense (Bogans/Brewer) to play strong vs Gino/Parker.. Neal is due for a cold night? isnt he ?
By the way, The Bulls laying 9 to the BobCats tomorrow. Cats have already beaten the Bulls twice this season. What are your thoughts ? Cats coming off a huge blow out of the Champs tonight and flying to Chitown to face a rested Bulls team who loves to take care of their revenge games this season..I'm thinking of hammering Chicago.

I sure hope you didn't bet on these Nets nags because of me. I think I laid it out clearly in my first post that the Spurs come up big every time I bet against them. The move was to lay the points, not "tail" my latest anti-Spurs disaster. Even I knew before the game that I was probably going to lose the bet. Was my pessimism not shining through brightly enough??

Alot of times you want (heart) a team to lose, possibly from dislike or for whatever reason. I try not to impulse bet. I hate the Lakers, having said that I bet for or against them based on what I think will/should happen as opposed to hate betting against them, or love betting for another. You're more than a proven seasoned vet' so I'm not trying to preach, just that if you can make the seperation emotionally it's easier to filter thru what your first impulse is when reading a match-up or spread perhaps.
Point being do you want the Spurs to lose for any reason? I'm a huge SA fan, so thru the years I except they're easy to hate due to their nature of victorious competition and playing the boring team ball with a prowess on complete defense. I understand how alot of NBA fans could spite that.
