i am here to alert of a pending letdown situation brewing for tonights knick game.
last night, we saw a sort of star-is-born situation, when a newguy kobe never heard of, torched him for 38 points. If you look at the numbers, Lin was almost half the offense for the knicks.
a big win over a marquee team delivers big emotions from that team. I suspect the knicks will be flat after unleashing such emotions on top of a redeye to minnesota.
The wolves have jennings. Lin should finally have a bad night, because so far he has not faced speed from his defender. If Lin is contained, there is nobody left to score.
6 points is an awful high line to give the Twolves. You got the knicks winning 4 in a row, hot, & they are giving away 6? This is a classic example where the oddsmakers are a step ahead of the public, who will be unloading on the new star they saw on ESPN last night.
The line will likely come down, the knicks are being heavily bet early. Wait to tip off & get the best line. But make sure you bet the wolves, cause they be ballin tonight.

also, i dont care if amare plays. he has been terrible so far this season. if anything, him playing will lower the line by a point, increasing value for the wolves play.

Have to agree with you here. They are really in a bad letdown spot. And teams who played the Lakers don't usually do well the next game. But for me, it's a no play. I wouldn't want to go against Knicks 7 ATS winning streak.

Celtics were in the same spot last night as the knicks are tonight...3rd game in 4 days, coming off laker game, traveling overnight. Celtics got killed by one of the worst teams in the NBA, cause they were tired.
Knicks will be spent fellas. Bet it.

this reminds me a lot of when tebow started his streak this past year. media was hyping up tebow and books began over-adjusting for all the public love and we all know what the result was: they got hammered!
the only difference here is that lin can ball and the team is rallying behind him.
i grabbed the line early at +7 and i'm probably staying put, unless line moves down to 4 or 5.
books usually take a while before they can adjust for such a phenomenon in sports, but i wish you the best of luck.

Wrong. It was cause Toronto was sick and tired of being sick and tired. They decided they were going to play that game like it was a game seven for them. Read about it for yourself. And as for the Knicks being a letdown emotional spot, I don't think so. I think they get the cover here. They don't have to win. In fact, I'm thinking the game could end in Minnesota beating the linsanity by a thread. KNICKS+6 all the way for me. GL gentlemen.

actually it is not the same. Because the knicks are catching points, whereas the celts were laying them. And yes that is a big difference.

the celts & raptors have a big discrepancy in their records & talent. What big discrepancy is there between the knicks & the wolves to explain this line.
in all seriousness, i would like anyone backing the knicks to explain why you are getting so many points. You all really think Lin will carry this team every day until melo comes back? How will the knicks play when he has a klunker.

Because history shows that Minnesota has had Knicks number when playing at home. Is that good enough for you?
