The "idiot" who said games aren't fixed can actually cap games.  Do you understand the immense difficulty that would have to be involved in fixing games? 

Bookies don't need to fix games to make a profit, they have people like you feeding them money everyday.  The bookies win every single day because of the cuts they get.  

I'm not saying it's impossible, just highly irrational.  One ref may be able to alter the score of a game slightly, but not enough to insure that casino's know the outcome of each game before it happens. That's hilariously dumb.

That missed call on Westbrook had about a 1% effect on the game.  The refs didn't make him miss 15 shots, the refs didn't make the Thunder shoot 25% from 3s.

Agreed, Vegas is sharp and damn near impossible to beat in the long term. People need to realize how much of an edge they have in this over normal folks.

They dnt know the outcome of the game. Smh.' Lmao!! How do we get spreads. Someone just dream about a spread and make a number? ? Vegas sets a spread already knowing the outcome. Hence teams covering by .5 and 1 point. Exactly covering ATS. Who can predict a line that close unless you know what's going to happen. Over and Under teams shoot well the whole night to the 4TH QUARTER. Scoring 30pt a piece teacher quarter. The o/u is set at 179. The two teams only need 22 points combined to take it over. They only combine for 21 pts. Missed the total by exactly 1 pt. Who goes that cold in just a quarter. Coincidence. I think not. Fixed 101.

That was a HUGE MISSED call. Lakers just lost a 6 pt lead when Thunder went on a 7-0 run. After a Lakers basket to go up by 1 and a big dunk by Lakers to get crowd and go up by 3, Westbrook answeres with a tomahawk jam but got hit on the head. No call and a T for arguing. Lakers get a basket to go up 6. Thunder never recovered.

Westbrook gets that call and possibly a1 pt game. At worst 3 pt. 6 pts swing is BIG in a tight game.

Vegas knew lots of public gonna look at Heat and Thunder with no football today and Super Bowl next week.

Also need their money back from the licking they got when Fakers lost to Heat.

@dumb. It doesnt matter if its a love tap. I saw that hit from my TV. A 1 pt game possibly a 3 pt game with 3 min left turned into a 6pt advantage for the dogs.

Dude, lines are set with simple math and additional factors. Any good capper can set just a sharp of a line as Vegas does. And as far as Vegas cleaning up with stupid. A sportsbook for Vegas is less than 1% on a P&L. Chump change to a casino.

Vegas sets lines based on something more than match ups and shooting percentages.  They smartly assumed home teams Bos and Lak would play close, tough games today.  Instead of setting the lines at -7 or -8 based on stats they set them at -3 or -3.5.  the public sees that and says, "Mia and Okc are better by at least two buckets.  i'll back the favs."  Thereby getting most of the public money on the wrong side.

i'm not saying i'm smart enough to see this everytime but i do know that when the "better" team doesn't cover it's not because the game was fixed.  it was because vegas is better at capping games than the vast majority of bettors.

It was 1-2 points the Thunder scored 96 points on the game. Basketball is a 48 minute game, not a 2 minute game.  

The Thunder lost because they didn't play as well as the Lakers in those 48 minutes.  

I don't understand how some of you can make money betting on sports when you clearly can't handle rational thoughts.

Now let me ask you this. You have the number 1 Free Throw attempted and Made guy with Durant. Are you gonna tell me a 1 or 3pt game with 3 min to go is the same time

Sure that play could have had caused some morale issues.  I'm just saying, if Westbrook would have hit 1 shot before that they would be in the same position as if that call happened. 

If he would have shot 35% instead of 20% (made 4 more shots) they would have probably won the game.  

My point is, the ref didn't lose them the game and in the whole spectrum of things it was only a small percentage of why they lost.

guys stop crying about fixes.. that's what I used to do too but now realized that it's all about being on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE FIX... so today I rolled with Vegas and took lakers ML.. that's how this league works like it or not..

I disagree, that call changed the dynamic of the game big time. Lakers just lost the momentum after letting Thunder go on a 7-0
run.

If Westbrook never scored at all entire game and he gets that call to answer the big dunk and hits both freethrows, they would have been only been down 1. Factor in Durant the human freethrow machine and the game can still have been won by Thunder and even possibly have been covered with 3 min to go.

That 1 small call affected the game 100 percent
