And, VEGAS WINS AGAIN!!! Of course the Heat was the obvious and the easiest play but too obvious and easy. And, since the public pounded Miami Vegas would stand to lose too much CASH if the Heat would have cover. So, no way they were going to let that happen. That's why LAL is such a good play cause it's a similar situation. Miami is far more superior than Boston in every fashion of the game. But, when the game is set to be fixed then that team just isn't gonna cover!!!! I still have a chance to go 3/4. BOL people. Gotta play smarter!!! Nd fade the public bettors!!

Use some rational thinking here, you think casino's call up Lebron James, a guy making 15 million a year, and say "Hey man you guys have to lose this game."  You think players and coaches would risk their legacy for money?  The bookies are making insane money already, they really don't have to fix games.

Your a Legend. Ok. Your record is 11-27. Ok. You keep posting and talking like you're worth anything as a capper and if not the Heat you'd be up. Come on, give people a break. Real capper never ignores or hides his record. You want only because the name you chose people to believe in you and trust you. Yes, some stupid ones do. The rest know what kind of a legend you are. I think that stupid a s s  shogun had a better record than you. What's wrong with you? You're the only one who believes you and in you. Do us a favor - give it a rest

i don't think he is saying that the players themselves necessarily fix the games. I believe that the refs do what they can to fix games and sometimes aren't successful in doing so, but most of the time are successful. the refs can keep a team within a point spread just by the way they call fouls if they want to.

The idiot above who dnt think games are fixed is def brainwashed badly. I didn't say players can be bought jackass. Nd im not sayn it's fixed cause I lost. But these are overpaid professionala right. So if they are told to miss here or there purposely or get a bone head turnover then they'll do that. Cause it's how they make their living. It's their job. So they become puppets and the refs have a heavy hand on the outcome as well. Believe what you want. Vegas knows the outcome before the game is even played!!! Any time a huge x amount of money is involved nd they stand a chance to get burned. They're not gonna let that happen. Wake up kid! !!

Players, refs, they know the spread just like the rest of us. And correct pros are harder to "influence" but I would not say its out of the question. Plus you got refs to call a foul here and there.

I dont know about the fix, sure NYC, CHI, MIA, LAL, DET all have 'family ties' to Vegas, but with the Boston game the fix was not neccessarily in.

Boston in playoff mode can beat anyone, Paul Pierce made the Celtics a winning franchise by himself with Antoine Walker. Today they were in playoff mode, MIA missed some shots. Dont forget until last season Lebron James was a "choke artists". Name recognition is what gives EVERYONE, not just the public, not just "cappers" the mental image that MIA is superior to everyone else.

Right now, any given day, I like the Spurs, Nuggets, Knicks, Thunder, LAKERS (yeah, they're back...did you forget about them?), Memphis, Bulls, and yes TORONTO/WASHINGTON to be able to beat MIA heads up, any given day.

The Celtics would be in there too if they did not just lose Rondo for the season.

Dont let anybody get you down Legend, in the end let your bankroll define you, not cyber props. I use this forum to get consensus with other semi pro pickers, its a tool to make money. That should be it.

Its comical if you really think Boston is a contender this year. This is the worst ive seen the Big 3 in Boston play in terms of defense and shot selection. Rondo is possibly the most important player in the league in relation to each team and hes gone now. Pierce finally had one big relevant game, he had two turnovers ( one in the last possesion of game) when they faced CHI early in the week, screwing any chance to win. Even ESPN said hes shooting the worst FG % in his career as of late. Celtics even with Rondo would be one and done this year.

I Am Legend, the premise of your post, based on this, "since the public pounded Miami Vegas would stand to lose too much CASH if the Heat would have cover" seems to be that Vegas tells the public team to not cover.  Isn't it possible that most bettors, 'the public' lose and that's why Vegas is in the bookmaking business?  The public looks at -3.5 and says, "Lakers sucks, Okc is good, i'm backing Okc."  Capping games and placing winning bets has nothing to do with who sucks and who's good.

by the way, i saw you backed the Lakers.  Why so bitter with the result?

For those that say NBA is not rigged is a fool.  Games are 100% fixed.  Look whats going on in the OKC game.  Westbrook gets fouled slap in the head like a girl and no call?

Lal is the same way as the Miami game. And bitter because for example. I know the wizards have been playing well. But the bulls were -2 against a really good warriors team and handled them and blew them out. Next night as -1 favorites against the wizards. They get blowed out and I backed the wizards. Not so much that I studied excessively but cause I felt the spread was too low and that Vegas was setting the trap for ppl to take the bulls as 1pt favorites and they failed. I just think it's rigged. All sports where big $$$ is involved. That's IMO!!
