Mav's won the first 2 games in LA because of Doncic. He's a beast. Ironically the Hawks traded him to Dallas so they could draft Young. Myself, I'll take Doncic. His size and how well he sees the floor, he's like Magic Johnson with a better shot.

Couple of reasons why Luka is better than Trae right now:
1) Luka is so much smarter. Trae doesn't understand yet how to get his shot every possession. Guys like Luka, KD Harden etc can get their shot every possession if they want. Also Trae basic passing IQ is no where near Luka.
2) I feel confidence from Trae but not the right type. Trae feels like a scorer. Give him the ball and he can likely put up 30 any game. But in similar to #1, its about how you do it. Trae doesn't seem to lead his team and well tbh only a handful of guys can lead and score at the same time. Luka is one of those guys.
3) He is not as good of a shooter as you think. Trae this year shot 34% from 3. Steph had a higher volume and shot over 42%!! Crazy right. Trae had an effective FG% of 49% this year. Steph? 60%. Luka? 55% and he didn't shoot the 3 ball well this year at all, 33%.

This will be a great thread and will age very well...both Doncic and Young will be forever compared because of the draft...both have complete different body types so right away, their games are going to be completely different, but talent wise, very slight edge goes to Doncic only because hes been playing against grown men since 15...Young has truly impressed me with this entire season play and leadership...but what he did in this series is truly remarkable and he is only going to get better with experience...hope this thread gets archived because this will be a 10-15 year long fun debate
