Aww, my friend Mr. Johnson once again...you're right, should be a great series, BUT...
First bolded statement in red: So you're saying the Lakers will score 70-75 points TOTAL as a team??? I must be misunderstanding your statement or misremembering or something like that...you're not serious, right?
Second bolded statement in red: The Lakers are at a huge DISADVANTGE between benches? You really can't be serious, I think you should re-evaluate that statement seriously. If you truly believe that, I'd like you to break that down for me.![]()

Why are they even going to play according to you? You have it all figured out. After all, every team that is favored in a series, has always won because that is what the odds say. ![]()
Maybe the betting public is wrong? Haven't you ever heard if its too good to be true, it usually isn't. Just make sure you don't disappear when the series is over and you are on the short end of ![]()
You are just like most of the Faker fans out there searching for respect. Faker Fans are the contradictory ones. In the offseason when Kobe couldn't make up his mind what he wanted to do, the hometowners were up in arms. Now, he is the greatest. It just proves how fans root for the jersey. If Kobe was on another squad, you would be bashing him like there is no tomorrow.
Best of luck and may the best team win.

glad I could be of amusement to you lol. Anyway first off I was a Lakers fan, but a Kobe fan when he was taken by the Hornets. Has been my favorite player, along with Jordan of course, since I started following him.
Now you say the betting PUBLIC isn't always right. Is the public really on the Lakers in this series? Now the Lakers are a public team usually, but if you were to say who was behind them this year, with the most hype based on the new all stars that were acquired in the offseason and had a great year, it would be the Celtics. Its going to be interesting to see who the public is on, as I think the majority of the public would take those lovely odds getting 2-1 on a team that has only lost 1 game at home in the playoffs and has homecourt advantage. So your statement on the betting public being wrong is off base.
As a lot of the big organizations that are hated across the world, the Lakers fans are quick to jump up and stand up for their team. Just like the Yankees, Cowboys, and all the other great franchises in all sports. I think there are more people that like the "working class" teams and not the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. True Lakers fans should understand that Kobe is all about winning. He felt that the organization wasn't taking the necessary steps to get that accomplished, so he said he wanted out. That sent everyone including his teammates a message that "hey we gotta step it up cuz our leader says so" This is basically the same team they have had for the past couple years and everyone stepped their game up. Kobe trusts them all, and watching his interview on ESPN tonight he just looks HAPPY. Not often I have seen him like this but he looks like hes having a good time and they are winning. If I am wrong about the Lakers winning this series I will be here to take the bashing, but up until this point the Lakers have blasted through the tough west and the Celtics have had problems with a fairly weak East.
